CBS Fox did two "Dazzling Dunks & Basketball Bloopers" in 1989 and 1990, and the packaging for this DVD re-release matches that for the original 1989 VHS tape. Unfortunately, the program on the DVD doesn't!

This is actually the 1990 sequel, "All New DD & BB", and while it's a decent program in its own right, especially at the low price, I feel it's false advertising by Warners and I've told them so. I feel they should pull this title and either issue the 1989 program in this packaging, or this 1990 program in new packaging.

(It might help if Amazon returned its stock to Warners and told them that they would not resell it until they fixed the problem. What about it, Amazon?)

Don't be fooled by the packaging of this DVD, or even the title menu itself. This is NOT the original Dazzling Dunks and Basketball Bloopers that so many of us know and love. This is the ALL NEW Dazzling Dunks and Basketball Bloopers. Needless to say, when I invited my friends over to watch the old movie in all its greatness, we were beyond disappointed. Don't make the same mistake I did. Only get this DVD if you really want the all new version. VERY dissapointing.

I was pumped when I purchased this DVD. But then it was met with sadness. This is "THE ALL NEW" Dazzling Dunks and Basketball Bloopers, not the great original classic. This DVD is poor at best. And the packaging does not tell you that it is not the original, nor does the disc itself! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

The reviews below are right! This is the sequel and not the original. I hope Warner will do something about this. Don't buy unless Warner released the original version.

I have now edited my review, after receiving this DVD, just like what the others have said, this is the ALL NEW BLOOPERS and not the original which is what I originally had reviewed! I am extremely disappointed!
