This is the best bball game of the 3 out for xbox. i have played live '03 and that had great graphics but you could score at will, and guys like nash would do a 360 dunk.... rediculous. nba 2k3 was ok, but very slow, and just boring, and at times too frustrating to score.
this one is the best overall balance of simulation and arcade like basketball. -- also, it allows you to increase or decrease the pobabilities of steals, 3 pts made, FG%, blocks, etc with "sliders". essentially allowing you to create the type of game pace that you would like. also in nba 2k3 players either are great or suck, in nba live its everyone is an allstar in ability... this game has good preset ability levels for the players.
features include, franchise mode up to 25 seasons, and create a player... and all the other typical stuff. no 2 on 2, but who cares about that?
buy it if you want a bball game.

This game is so raw!!!!!! It's the cleanist, smoothist, funnest basketball game ive ever played. its a big improvement than last years version. its not as choppy. its the same arcade graphics and easy gameplay that make this game so good. So 4 all you basketball gameplayers, get this game. NBA Inside Drive 2003 for Xbox is the best bball game this year!

I previously owned NBA Inside Drive 2002. It was fun, but lost its appeal quickly because there was no progression of the game. The players skills remained unchanged no matter how much you played. The 2003 version allows you to create your own players, choose the skills and appearance of that player, and have that player improve from game to game. You can turn a rookie 3rd string point guard into scoring title all-star over the course of a couple of seasons. The overall gameplay, sound, and graphics seem slightly improved over 2002. But it is the dynamic player performance and create a player additions that give this game a great improvement in longevity.

i recently bought this game..got home played it and was very disapointed..the game play is horrible..its very slow and sluggish..i guess im use to nba live 03 and its great controls.. i was very pleased to see you could actually creat-a-player and use him in your franchise, which is the only drawback from nba live 03..plus unless you loved the camera angles from double dribble on nintendo from the early 80's,(yes im old school)then you'll hate these..the only reason i gave it a one star is for the create-a-player in franchise option..other wise i would have given it 0 its that bad

This game has so many options to choose from especially in the create-a-player menu form all branded shoes to cornrows headbands wristbands and fingertape. The Graphics clearly is better than nba 2k3's. So my advice to u is get this game because the gameplay and graphics are better.

I played NBA Inside Drive 2002 and at first I was slightly disappointed at how it looked compared to other b-ball games. Then when 2003 came out I got it and was immediately impressed. You can tell the difference between the two games, and 2003 is hands down a much better game. I've played NBA Live and didn't like how fast-paced it was. You can't really play defense like on Inside Drive and the A.I. seems to always make baskets. Its more realistic on Inside Drive 2003. The dunks are fantastic on this game. You get to play up to 25 seasons and defend your championship title. Another plus, which is one of the better positives to this game is the commentary. They have Kenny 'the Jet' Smith as a new addition. I've played up to 5 seasons on this game and I was shocked to hear new commentary that far into the game. The creators put together a fun game and made it solid in a lot of areas. This is definitely one to own.

This game is absolutly AMAZING! There are NO flaws I have found yet! Here is the lowdown...

Graphics: AMAZING! Every player looks and acts like they do in real life. I am a huge Celtics fan and even Tony Battie has the BATMAN tatoo on his arm. FANTASTIC! Iverson looks like they took him from real life and stuck him in the game. ALL THE PLAYERS LOOK THAT WAY!

Gameplay: AWESOME! The games are soooooo realistic! There is also franchise mode and you can create a player and have them practice before you put them on the team! AMAZING!

Fun Factor: Best NBA game out there for any system. If you are a basketball fan, sell you other system and buy XBOX just for this game. IT IS THAT GREAT!

NBA Inside Drive is a GREAT game, the graphics are splendid you may create a player, dynasty mode (25 season's + playoffs), practice mode, and of course an exhibition mode(single game). When you create a player you chose the college he went to, the tattoo's, looks, skill (its hard to get a star w/ out the cheat), and even artificial intelligence. Dynasty mode this may be the coolest feature ever, the players age (for the better or worse), they retire(if your a Utah jazz fan Stockton and Malone retire within 1-2 years!), there are drafts (fantasy if wanted),it goes into playoffs, this is a great way to manage a team, and the allstar teams are created by the computer. Practice you can actually shoot-around with a team w/ no defense you can also practice free throws and like in games you may view a shot chart (green dots for made red for missed on a map of the court). This is a GREAT game unless you want the XBox live expierence this is the NBA game to get. Oh and you may also play five minutes of NFL Fever 2003 patriot's vs. rams as much as you want (thanks to good ol' demos).

I have been playing this game for a couple of months now. It is very addictive. I have enjoyed it a lot. The only other basketball game I have played before it NBA Live 2001 on the PC. This game is much better than that one. I got a good price on it too. It was well worth the money. One of the things that makes it addictive is the create a player options, that allow you to create players. After each game you get to add points to your player's abilities based on how well he did in the game. I first created players that were 7' 10". But I was able to beat the other teams too easliy. So I made them about the same size as the other players to make it more competitive.
