4.0 out of 5 stars Best Basketball PC Game to date
I still prefer NBA Live 2000 to any other version, old or new, in the series. It's an excellent game even in 2002 and you can download the latest rosters from a popular NBA Live fan web site, or even download college courts, uni's and teams if you want to (recommended for college fans - it's worth it).

2+ years after it's release, NBA Live 2000 still looks good, price...

3.0 out of 5 stars NBA Live 2000 for PC
I got this game because my friend had one. It's real cool. It took a while for me to figure the game out, but I'm getting the hang of it. It says most of the players names, too. Sometimes even if you create players it says their name. It is a fun game for NBA fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Radical Game, January 7, 2002

Nba Live 2000 is a very cool game. There are legendary teams. There is a three point shootout mode. In the three point shootout mode you can have up to six players shoot against each other. There are two players at a time. The Michael Jordan 1-on-1 is a really nice mode .There is also multiplayer mode where you can face off against your friends. Then there is season mode where you can choose any of the 29 teams or make up a superstar custom team and blaze through the season like a rocket. You can also just go straight to the playoffs in playoff mode. This game has awesome graphics and makes you feel like you are really there. I think that this is an easy to learn game and I think that everyone would like this game.

Great Basketball Game. Since
NBA Live 2001 does not run on XP machine, NBA Live 2000 is the answer since EA sports has no plans to Update Basketball for XP.
The shooting is realistic. Forward lean shots, fade away shots, and awesome dunks to regular lay ups.Dribbling is a little lame but over all this is a nice game for basketball fans to help their favorite team win.

This game is really fun to play in 2004 because you get to see the old ratings of players (Hakeem Olajowan, 86) and people like T-Mac and Steve Francis and Baron Davis are all average. You get offered a lot of trades if you simulate, and the season goes relly fast. A glitch- Tim Duncan wins the MVP too much. Not very good gameplay for keyboard, but if you have a gamepad then it's fine. This game is great and will still be fun in 10 years.

5.0 out of 5 stars NBA Live rocks!, September 14, 2001

NBA live is awesome. Has fairly good graphics. Realistic injuries make it more fun. Instant replays are awesome. If you like a good b-ball game buy NBA Live 2000! The only downside is if you don't set it on short season it takes forever to play a season.
