The addition of 70 new player models, each consisting of over 4,500 polygons, re-creates the college hoopster in jaw-dropping detail. With the aid of specular lighting, you will see muscle definition and uniform folds and wrinkles from every angle imaginable. You will perform over 30 new dunks, including reverses, follow-ups, and 360-degree jams, and watch the rim and backboard shake after a crowd-silencing dunk. All-new motion-blending technology creates seamless transitions in every animation, which results in ultrasmooth player control.

You can play your small school, but not worth it.,

Some good game play and it is fun to take my small school, University of Texas at Arlington, to will the tournament and to 2 straight victories in a Dynasty game. I do like the shoot meter so that you control exactly the shoot. But this is not a good game though. If you want a basketball game and you want to play your college teams, look somewhere else. It does have every division 1 team but it is a very bad game.

This is a terrible game,

This is the most unrealistic game ever, sure the graphics are pretty good, but any game nowadays can have good graphics. When I played a season as Marquette, i started the season as #23 my first game was against #9 valpo after beating them (by 34 i might add) i was ranked number 1! how did that happen its not like every other team in the top 23 lost. Also, the computer only runs one play and its always the SF shooting a 3 and depending on the calibur of team he will either miss it 20 times or make it 20 times. Most of the reviews on here said they couldnt make a free throw but i had no problem with that, in fact when i created players i just took all the points from the freethrow stat and put it into the other stats, yet i rarely missed a free throw. Even on the hardest difficulty level i never won a game by less than 15 and i never even lost in 2 seasons even when playing Duke, Kansas, or UNC. Also, for some strange reason i had a 5'10 PG who could just take off with out a running start or anything and dunk it two-handed reverse style from the free throw line, while i had a center over 7ft and he couldnt have dunked if he had been given wings. My 6'6 PF averaged 12 blocks and 14 steals agame. WHO BLOCKS 12 SHOTS A GAME?!?!?! and everytime my SF made a shot he would celebrate on the wrong end of the floor and never show up on D. I dont know why this game has these uncalled for celebrations they never celebrate over a good play just a simple little 12ft jumper. Never a buzzer beater or a dunk over 4 guys, they just celebrate when they are up by 40 with 30 seconds to go agains Colgate or some small school. I havent played a good college basketball game since march madness 2000 on PS1. I usually stay away from 989 for some reason i gave this one a try because it was a gift, I should tell whoever gave me this peice of garbage to stick with gift certificates next time.
