I think this game is the best playstation I have ever played.I like sports alot so this game was great. If you like college football you will enjoy it.It has great options on this game. You can do about anything.Play a season, create teams or players, tournaments,a series of great games to chose from, and recruting options which is one of my favorite. You draft people out of high schools trying to make your team better for a season like in real life!

Overall I think this is a much better game than the '99 version. I am going to get Gamebreaker 2000 to see how they compare. The Dynasty mode is a realy nice feature letting you take a team from the bottom to the top. For example I took Pittsburgh and made 3 straight Bowl appearances (Oahu, Gator, Orange) before getting a job offer at Miami, FLA which of coarse I took. The recruiting is fun and is realistic. If you are looking for a game you want to have fun with, but also have a challenge with get this.

This game is GREAT! The dynasty mode is more in depth than last year's version. As you can get from bluechips to walkons. You can see who you are recruiting. They have all of the bowl games in this game. You can also create your own school and play for that school also. Overall, I would buy this game over Madden 2000!

I really enjoyed the recruiting aspect of the game, I've gone months without playing a single game, just simulating the games, and then recruiting again. It's a chess-game of letting your recruits play without the added bonus of human interference... closest game there is to actually being the coach...(minus the ability to call plays)Here's hoping that the 2001 edition for PS2 will be all that and even more! I'm hooked!

Great game with excellent graphics. Manage the schedule against the big boys, forget the spare teams. Crank up the sound, let's hear the bands get into it. Dynasty mode is neat, after winning the National Championship, I don't rebuild, I reload. I dropped from #1 to #2 in the nation even though I had a perfect record. Not a problem, I whupped in the Championship game.

Although NCAA lacks graphics they have improved in every possible way to turn this game into the most realistic college football game up to date. For instance at the end of the endzones for certain teams they have their school mascot dancing. Also you can make the referees pay the price for a bad call earlier in the game by pummling over them. The recruting on NCAA College Football 2000 is so in depth that it tells you way the recruit does or doesn't want to attend your school. For instance on recruit wouldn't come to my school because he wanted to stay near his girlfriend. This game is simply wonderful and a must buy for any football fanatics.

college football 2000 is the best college game to come to any video game system.....2000 has great contol, graphics(make sure to use college classic cam), overall game speed and tons of features to keep any gamer interested...2000 is a true college football simulation whereas gamebreaker is more of a unrealistic arcade game

NCAA Football 2000 is a great game if you enjoy having your favorite college team in their home stadium. However, The graphics are much sketchier than those on Madden 99. The players don't always move fluidly, and there is no soft tackle. Everyone gets clotheslined. This game is exactly what college football is to pro football-it has the potential to be more exciting, but the level of quality and execution is still lagging behind.

What's not fun about playing as Michael Vick, Chad Pennington, or a highly overrated Peter Warrick? This game gives you a chance to see how far EA (and the consoles) have come over the past decade. I know this game was great when it came out, and I can see the fun in it, but it won't take you long to better appreciate the games we have now. All the defensive lineman look like sumo wrestlers, and the running backs can only cut corners on eight points (up, down, left, right, and the four points in between). That's very limiting/frustrating. As always, the stadiums look great, and they actually give you an option to play a tournament at the end of the year instead of bowls!! What happened to that option?! For the money, it's a fun game.

989 Did a Better Job,

After playing 989's NCAA Gamebreaker 1999 for a few years, I thought that I would venture out on the EA Sports side and see what they had. I choose this game because of the option to play in a dynasty mode. It was a year newer then my current game and I expected it to be a tad bit better then NCAA Gamebreaker 1999. I liked the dynasty mode and the announcing on this game. The rest of the game didn't strike me as anything overly good. The graphics were worse then my NCAA Gamebreaker 1999 game. I expected the game to be a lot better then what I ended up with. I am disappointed in EA Sports.
