4.0 out of 5 stars Best Ever
Best Basketball game of all time, how did EA just drop the ball so bad on this franchise?
The game play on the 2010 NCAA was ok, except you can't make the player miss dunks and lay ups just to make sure the computer wins, and YOU NEED OLD SCHOOL TEAMS IN NCAA, players only stay one year.

1.0 out of 5 stars RIDICULOUS
The game itself is good. As far as the glitches it has; totally unacceptable! I am talking every time I play the game it locks up. They need to re issue with better quality. EA sports needs to fire whoever came out with this game.

You might want to wait awhile before purchasing this game. As late as it came out for the BB season, it obviously was released too early. Game is very buggy and has frozen up on me 4 times in 2 days of play. Some facets of the game do not work properly though actual gameplay can be fun. There are a couple of things differant during gameplay from last years version and is fun to play but unless you just have to have it now it might be best to wait for the bugs to be worked out of it.

overall this game is fun, but it tends to freeze alot. when in the middle of the game and it freezes, you need to restart the system. i even tried it on my ps3 to see if it would freeze less. no result. the graphics arent as good as the 2k7 college game. overall i am saying, if you buy this game you just wasted 30 bucks.

4.0 out of 5 stars great bargain for a good game, December 26, 2008

You know I just got this game as I always wanted a college basketball game. I like the feel of it and I have not any freezes so far so thats good. I say get it for the price and if your on a budget it makes a great gift. Now if EA would do college hockey that would rule. I mean come on they have college baseball, football, and basketball. I still say coach K was the best college game of all time.

I am somewhat disappointed in this game. The gameplay is good, but EA seems to have removed a lot of the special moves that were present in previous versions. I think its good that there are 100 different button combinations, but 10 moves would be good. It's a fairly easy game, even on the hardest level. I still think EA makes the best sports games out there though.

I'm not sure about these claims of freezing up. I have played a bunch of games and I have not had the game freeze up once. Maybe the other reviewers bought their game used at that crappy gamestop place.

While NBA live has better dunks (and the NBA all star weekend), I like the NCAA gameplay better. This game is faster paced and you can dunk alot more.

This is the first NCAA game I have played since 2003. I like how the NCAA and NBA games have their own style (as opposed to 2003, when they were basically the same). The crowd atmosphere is incredible and you even see the mascot reacting to the game on the sidelines. EA also lets you play as college champion teams of the past, and you can play with a college Patrick Ewing and Micheal Jordan.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, April 19, 2007

I haven't had problems with the game freezing (yet!). The problem I've experienced is that my settings don't get saved, despite multiple attempts to save them. SO every time I turn the game back on, I have to redo the game to fit my style of play. That in and of itself takes several minutes. Anything that cuts so drastically into my game time ruins the gameplay for me.

I do like the recruiting. It isn't much different than the '06 version, but there are subtle things. I don't get the thing like Radio Ticker and what not. What does it do? I haven't seen all these supposed new features everyone's talking about like being awarded a new stadium and what not. I kind of feel duped.

It's a basketball game. It's NCAA MARCH MADNESS 2006 revisited. I really don't see enough improvements in this to have warrented it being a true UPDATE or UPGRADE.

I think you should be able to delete existing players on the team to create an open spot. I like to create players but many of my favorite teams are shown as full. What's the point in creating a player if you can't put him on the tean you want to play?

all in all, the game is fun, but yeah it has its problems. Caveat Emptor! Buyer Beware!
