5.0 out of 5 stars I passed my NCLEX, September 24, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I did very well in class, but this book filled in a lot of gaps in certain subjects. This is the comprehensive version but it isn't so detailed that it makes you feel like you're just going through your nursing textbook again. I felt as though it had just the right information to help me link disorder with diagnostic with treatments/medications. The CD that comes with the book has a good system to help you learn why you're answering question wrong or right. I'd recommend this book for sure, just read it before doing the CD, I did it backwards and it made the CD much harder... I passed my NCLEX in 85 questions in little over an hour.

2.0 out of 5 stars Inexcusable mistakes from "Three Leading Nursing Experts", August 23, 2009
The book is full of mistakes and is misleading the readers! Some questions and answers are confusing. Rational given to question 174 (Ch.5) states that 2 teaspoons equals 1 tablespoon, when the whole world knows that 3 teaspoons equals 1 tablespoon. Question 193 (Ch.5): it says that the correct technique for administering a mantoux test is the answer B (deposit the PPD subcutaneously in the upper arm), when it should be administered in the inner aspect of the forearm. There are many more mistakes and spelling errors throughout this book. I feel like I wasted my time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, August 18, 2008
By JoBets (Upstate NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: NCLEX-PN Exam Cram (Kindle Edition)
I don't have this book, but 3 of my friends do. We used it to study with today, and I like the questions in this book. I have 3 other review books, but this one just makes sense. I will be adding the CD to my laptop and will work off the questions on the CD.

I do recommend this book. You will find it helpful and I think the price is pretty good. Barnes & Noble sells it for a lot more.
