Examcram was recommended to my class by my teacher along with Saunders (another great review book). The same publisher who makes examcram, Pearson, are also the ones who give the nclex.
The cd that comes with the book doesn't contain extra questions, which I assumed at first it did. I was kind of disappointed, but still gave the cd a shot. All of the questions that are in the book are on the cd, and it made studying easier for me using my computer rather than using the book and flipping back and forth from the questions and answers. Some of the rationales for the questions weren't as in-depth as I would like, however.
If you're looking for a review book, this one doesn't really fit that category; it offers only questions, pure and simple. There is a examcram review book though. You have to take a good look at the covers to tell the difference between the two.
I highly recommend both books, the 1000+ Practice Questions and the ExamCram NCLEX-PN review book. I own both of them and they really helped me to pass my boards. The questions in both books really gives you a feel of what taking the actual nclex would be like.

i bought the book to help me pass my HESI exit exam. some questions are more likely the same on my test at school. the only thing that im not satisfied with is the rationale because it doesnt give you enough detail why thats the answer.

This book is awesome i feel it is the closest to the real nclex-pn questions. I passed with 85 questions:) on my first try!! Good luck to all of you!!!!

This book is great. It really prepared me for the nclex styled questions. The quizzes were great but my favorite study tool was the Cram Sheet tear card.I passed my state board with 85 question on my first try =) Thanks Exam CRAM

Both sets of exam cram nclex pn is AWESOME for the new and improved exam!!!! Give ya self some time off and just study the Whole day with breaks in between! By the way I Passed the first time with answering only 85 questions !! Good Luck to all future nurses, now my journey to become an Rn!!

Love this book. In the front there is a crib note of sorts that list all facts that are must know, Like labe values and normal v/s. Practice test are in proper format, just like I was setting for boards already.

This book is a must have for the nclex test!! The seller was fast in deoivering it, The fastest service i've had from anyone.
