I am retired from 20 years nursing faculty experience. I was asked to write an instructor's manual that includes 350-400 NCLEX-style sample exam items. Because I knew that the item style format had changed but I was unable to access the current guidelines, I purchased this book. The sole value of the book is as representative of the new NCLEX item formats. It meets my purpose, but any nursing student preparing to take NCLEX for RN licensure will need a comprehensive review book. This is not an adequate review source; there are very few items for each content focus, and I challenge the accuracy of some items.

Used this book when I was taking a break from my other studies. This book has the NEW Nclex style m/c answers. USE it. BUY it. It will help you think more critically. Good luck on boards.

Very good, lots of good questions and information as to what expect in the new format questions.

This book is a very good buy. When you have gone through all of the questions in this book and have understood the arguments for and against each answer choices then you are on your way to pass the NCLEX exam. This book is highly recommended for foreign trained nurses as well.

There is only one minus: Remember that the NCLEX test only has a few of these New-Format Questions so you need to supplement your NCLEX testing knowledge with other books.
