This book was a wonderful review! It had content review then questions that definately helped me pass my boards the first time!

One of 3 books I used to review and I passed my NCLEX with only 75 questions.

I love this book! It gives the reader a nice way to remember medications and their classes, along with other highlights on what information will likely be on the NCLEX exam. I recomend this book to all nursing students as a great way to study for nursing exams. I also feel it is greatly beneficial to a GN studying for the NCLEX.

This is the worst review book I have used. I would recommend you spend your money on Saunders or Kaplan books. I was testing really well by using the Saunder's and Kaplan books and techniques then when I used this book, my scores were horrible. Not very well organized and it seems some of the information is incorrect (contradicted answers in Saunders and Kaplan...) This book was more frustrating than helpful...

Great study tool! I passed my NCLEX the first time using this book along with Saunders, Lippincott, and Davis study reviews!!

Exam Cram provided an excellent review of nursing med/surg topics. The format the book is written in makes it easy to read and fun to read. I liked the practice questions at the end of each chapter and the 2 big practice tests that were at the end of the book. The book also comes with a sort of "cheat sheet" that provides normal lab values and acronyms to remember certain bits of info. Overall this is a great NCLEX study tool!

This is a good book for review. It doesn't have great question divide very general chapters not by system. Great 1st chapter on how to take NCLEX tests and question answering strategies.

It seems to me that this book was encoded by a non-medical layperson, because too many medical terms and drug names are misspelled. It may not be a big deal to some, but if a student is encountering these terms for the first time then they will end up remembering the wrong thing. I'm sorry but it really doesn't inspire confidence in the review material if you have to keep second guessing whether the information presented is correct. This book may be OK if you already know the material and just need to refresh, just don't use this as your primary resource.
