Don't waste your time!,
By In Love with Purple (New Hampshire) - See all my reviews
This review is from: NCLEX-RN Interactive Flashcard Book (Flash Card Books) (Paperback)
This is the first book I started using for a review for my NCLEX test. I found more than 8 mistakes in the questions, information and answers.(I gave up on it finally and threw it away!) The questions are poorly written and the rationales are worthless. For rationales, they simply restate the question as a sentence, never giving you actual information.
I would recommend buying the NCLEX-3500 CD-ROM, Mosby's Flashcards and Saunders Comprehensive Reivew (this is a great book). DO NOT buy Marion Brandis' NCLEX-RN Flashcard Book!!

Little info!,
By Nurse on the run "Wendy" (Park City, UT) - See all my reviews
This review is from: NCLEX-RN Interactive Flashcard Book (Flash Card Books) (Paperback)
I recently purchased this book to review for an entrance exam. This info is not at an RN level. The majority of these question are just commen sense. They could be answered correctly by the general public.

I purchased this book as an LPN student to prep for the NCLEX. I found the questions in this book too elementary and obvious-definitely not to RN standards! I didn't feel as if I was being challenged or learning any new information. There were multiple errors in the book. Overall, it was worthless. Does anyone else agree? I would recommend #1 Mosby's (CD is great!) #2 Kaplan.

good content review book,
This review is from: NCLEX-RN Interactive Flashcard Book (Flash Card Books) (Paperback)
This book should be used just as a "on the go" study supplement. It is easy to carry anywhere, use it at the stop light, when you are waiting in line at the grocery store!
DO NOT use this book as your only method to study for the boards. Saunders, and Kaplan strategy book are great books. I am using them right now. I think this book is well worth buying!

NCLEX-RN flashcards,

A useful book. Bought it to study for state finals in NZ - and have found it useful. There are two mistakes that I have found in answers, but they're pretty obvious so shouldn't throw anyone too much.

Its a quick review but not something you can study from for rn exams, flash cards are memory joggers, not this, not a waste of money but not the best
