VERY GOOD BOOK TO PASS NCLEX,
By
This review is from: NCLEX-RN Review (Nsna's Nclex Rn Review)(5th Edition) (Paperback)
I took the NCLEX on January 23rd 2006 and passed it the first time. I started studying this book on Dec 29th and graduated from nursing school in May 2005. This review showed me what to look for and was an excellent review since I had been out of school for that long. There are practice test at the end of each unit and 8 100 question practice test @ the end of the book. I never used the CD and went over some practice dosage calculations from another book since other reviewers said it had errors in that part. I also only took 3 of the practice test in the back but took all the test at the end of the units. Get this book its $50 I did not use anything else or go to any live costly reviews & passed the NCLEX and felt confident while taking it. I also recommend Frye's 3000 nursing bullets.

The best NCLEX review book there is,
By NEW GRAD (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: NCLEX-RN Review (Nsna's Nclex Rn Review)(5th Edition) (Paperback)
I passed the NCLEX with 75 questions. This is the best NCLEX review book I could find. I bought it because it had the section devoted specifically to drugs and it had medication administration review and 8 100 question tests at the back. The book is informative the questions are actually harder or equal to the questions on the NCLEX. I read this book all the way through and I took all the tests in the back. I also have Saunders comprehensive review, but I thought the questions were too easy. The only down fall to this book is that it has errors in the medicaton calculation area and on the CD. The CD was not useful because it had so many errors. So, get the book but forget about the CD. I also got NCLEX 250 new format review questions by Lippincott that I would recommend.

helped me pass my nclex the first time,
This review is from: NCLEX-RN Review (Nsna's Nclex Rn Review)(5th Edition) (Paperback)
This book was very helpful. I used this book as the main study guide for my boards. The questions in this review guide were close to the questions i recived. The cd gives you a graph on your strong and weak points.

THIS IS THE ONLY STUDY GUIDE YOU NEED,
By
This review is from: NCLEX-RN Review (Nsna's Nclex Rn Review)(5th Edition) (Paperback)
Don't buy anything else!! Don't be a sucker for classes costing hundreds of dollars. This is the ultimate guide for the NCLEX. Students should buy this while still in school. It contains all the info you learned in 3 - 4 years in a nice compact format with no fluffing - just the facts. There are so many questions to practice on, and a CD. Read the whole thing, take the tests in the back and you will pass the NCLEX with flying colors and confidence. BUT, watch out!! There are many typos (3) in the calculations section. If you question a result, get another opinion.

This book offers so much to help you prepare for the NCLEX. There are a variety of questions in all categories along with condensed rationales for the answers that help you understand why the answer is correct. The practice tests are available in the book as well as having some on the CD. It was a great asset for my NCLEX preparation.

Beware!,
By
This review is from: NCLEX-RN Review (Nsna's Nclex Rn Review)(5th Edition) (Paperback)
This book and CD are full of errors!! The CD was absolutely useless. They appear to be translated from another language and many of the answers were simply wrong, or the book would contradict the answer. In addition, it wouldn't run on Windows XP. This is a waste of money, try the Saunders series, they were much more helpful. I'm surprized so many people have given this book quality ratings, if you own the book take a look at page 691 question 28, this is just one of many errors.

It is a very very very useful tool book for NCLEX-RN Exam.
I passed the test with 90 questions at the first time! If you are looking for a review book for Nclex-RN,this one is the best one for the test! CD-Rom is good too.

NCLEX-RN Review: NSNA's NCLEX RN review,
By Returning RN (CT) - See all my reviews
This review is from: NCLEX-RN Review (Nsna's Nclex Rn Review)(5th Edition) (Paperback)
This book is excellent. It most certainly assisted me in passing the NCLEX with 75 questions in 45 minutes. I am a returning RN and took the nursing boards for the first time in 1977, so I was very apprehensive to have to retake the nursing boards for a second time in order to return to the field of nursing. In addition, I have not actively practiced in many years. The book is very organized and informative. In addition, the explanations for the questions/answers are given which I found to be very helpful. The key to passing is to take as many practice tests as humanly possible in order to start thinking the way the NCLEX thinks. I can guarantee this book along with one of the other ones offered by Amazon will greatly increase your odds in passing the first time you take the test.

Great Book to have during your course of nursing, whether you're studying for nursing finals or NCLEX. I did not take any review classes and passed NCLEX first trial with 75 questions. If you spend good amount of time studying, you can do it too!

Wrong Answers,
By
This review is from: NCLEX-RN Review (Nsna's Nclex Rn Review)(5th Edition) (Paperback)
This book is great because it is broken down into sections with review questions at the end of each section. But, I found that there are many math questions throughout the book that have the wrong answers. When you read the rationale it is clear that it does not correspond to the indicated question.
