Product Description

The L300 is a game-changing virtual desktop client device. Its sleek low-power design and form factor is easily mounted on a monitor or secured to a desk. Powered by NComputing\'s Numo System on a Chip (SoC), the L300 client device costs less than any other thin- or zero-client options and is a quarter of the cost of typical desktop PCs. With the ability to connect up to 100 L300 user sessions to a single NComputing vSpace server, the combination provides a simple and powerful desktop virtualization solution at one-third the price of traditional alternatives.

Using this device to host a remote terminal for my parents living across the country (windows 7 vm). Much easier to support than a regular pc, and I can help them out anytime they have issues. Also supports most usb devices, so they print or use usb devices if needed

I've been using the L300s in our call center for over two years. Initially it had some quirky issues to work out (USB compatibility, OS limitations, etc.) but through the last year or so NComputing has released software updates that have all but ironed out the discernible problems. Excellent product, I would recommend to everyone looking to centralize and save

SATISFIED CORPORATE CUSTOMER.

The L300 clients work great with the Windows Server 2008 R2 platform and Windows Server 2012.

Honestly, we have 2 servers now serving 2 different buildings and we're approaching 100 terminals between the 2 buildings. We also plans to expand to other buildings as well.

These things work good and are durable so far. We've started rolling them out almost 3 years ago. No nodes have failed yet. (Knock on wood!)

did a quote with citrix and Ncomputing with the full workup. support, licenses, server and its OS, endpoints (L300), mice, keyboard, and monitor setups, came to 1,700 a seat for citrix and $359 a seat for ncomputing. if you're wanting to virtualize your environment... this is the way to do it. now that we have these units we love them easy to manage easy to use. low hassle product that does what it advertises. we have 50 seats on 1 server core i7 3.2G, and we can watch high def video and email and skype and browse the web.

These little guys are a great way to get an additional workstation for general usage. The knowledge base on their website has a guide for setting up new stations - makes deploying them very easy.

I had to setup at least 7 of these in our local high school student lab. It is so much better than adding a new desktop. It saves money!

I use the L300 everyday at work and it is a solid performing device. For the price point, no one else even comes close. I also like that the support team for NComputing is located in CA and they are easy to get in touch with. Overall, this is a great solution that is only getting higher performing and reliable as we have configured our environment. Thanks NComputing. These units are a cost effective means for businesses to add more workstations to their networks. Very small, low power, low maintenance units that over time will save you even more money.

Easy to setup and run full windows office suite as well as full Adobe suite. Video plays in full screen with only a bit of lagg on the switch, but mostly plays smooth. Skype also works on these.

Video games do not work with this device not even Minecraft. Most games will not play over a remote connection, so not really the units fault. As far as I have seen this is the only limitation of these units.
