The 20-122 is a black toner cartridge from NEC designed for use with its Superscript 870 laser printer. With the 870's powerful laser printing technology, this replacement cartridge prints sharp images and text. It has a duty cycle of 6,000 pages (based on 5% average coverage) providing long lasting ink life even in heavy use environments. The cartridge is also easy to install and replace. Simply open the printer cover, insert the cartridge, and close the cover. One toner cartridge is provided per box.

Its hard to be enthusiastic about a Toner cartridge, however I should say this is just my second cartridge in 5 years of daily, routine home office use. The printer, and the cartridge(s) have performed flawlessly. I am totally amazed by the longevity both of the printer and cartridge. This was my first laser printer and it's been a wonderful experience. So kudos to NEC.

I've tried the refills,but the original is so superior - slightly more superior at the beginning, and the difference just grows. So it's not cheap, but it's the best value.

I was not sent a new NEC cartridge but rather a remanufactured generic cartridge. After about 30 days of use it started leaving black streaks on the page. I've contacted the seller to see about a replacement. Will let you know.

Edit: Was not contacted by seller, but a replacement cartridge arrived at my door about a week after I e-mailed them. So far, so good, so I am upping the rating.
