This cartridge yields much more than 3,000 if you use "save toner" mode (300 dpi) as default. But even if you use the maximum 1200 dpi, it can save you a lot of pennies over xeroxing. The toner produces crisp lines and cartride is very easy to lift in and out for replacement. Amazon's prices are hard to beat for almost everything... except this toner. You can get it for 30-40% less at Onvia.com or thenerds.net.

I received this ink and when we went to use it, it printed in solid black ink and I could not read any text. I tried to email this user a few times with no return email for a refund and return.

Toner arrived on time and new-in-box shape as promised. It works great. Enclosed instructions made loading the cartridge an easy job.

The toner along with my NEC Superscript 4200 deliver reliable prints. So far, I have gone thru 3 reams of paper with this toner. I have used the lower capacity toner cartridge in the past. Print quality is as great as the day I bought my NEC printer 6 years ago. Now it works as my network printer.

My first 20-152 cartridge has lasted three years -- that's less than the cost of a ream of paper per month! Meanwhile, my partner has gone through two inkjet printers and $30-$40 per month in ink cartridges. We self-publish genealogical books, so the quality must be superior. An inkjet printer just can't handle this kind of high volume work, so whenever the camera-ready job comes from his PC (instead of my Mac), he borrows my laser printer. As far as saving maybe a few bucks with a cheaper supplier, I'd rather trust my purchase to Amazon, as they've never failed me yet. -- A Publishing Perfectionist

Well, I burned thru one of these bad boys in less than a year and 4K pages. Too bad that NEC printers don't have any good knockoff alternative brand cartridges available.

Well, the cartridge fit the laser printer, and it contains toner, and it works. I can't say how much longer the "high capacity" cartridge lasts compared to the regular ("low capacity?") one does, as I'm not that anal about measuring stuff like that. But if you have an NEC laser printer that uses this cartridge and it seems you're buying a lot of cartridges, maybe you should try this high capacity version.

Wow, only 110 bucks for a refill, thats more than the printer is worth, what a great deal!
