This has got to be the best surprise gag gift of all time. For that person who has everything. Who hasn't seen A Christmas Story? At least a million times?

The leg lamp was just one of the classic bits in this movie. I am glad to see that they made it into a night light.

Not sure how much of a market is out there for this item. Kids won't "get" it, probably, and most adults won't need it. That is why I think it is a good gag gift.

This thing is a joy to behold. It is smaller than it looks on the picture.

Now if only I could figure out how to get it in the front window....

I bought this for my sister for x-mas and she actually screamed with she opened it. It is scaled down and has that same great look! Highly rec. to people who just love that retro style!

This is a cute idea and makes a good silly gift. The only problem is that this nightlight is not made for every electric socket. You must have one that is vertical instead of horizontal on your wall - otherwise it will be sideways. It would have been good if it was adjustable - to be able to turn the prongs the direction you need them.

It is soooo cute. I love A Christmas Story and I bought this for my friend who does too. I cant afford the real version so this night light is perfect.Its also a large size for a night light. I would recommend this for anyone who likes the movie as much as we do, but cant afford the real leg lamp. Thanks again. Brea Herring

got this for my dad for christmas as a stocking stuffer. he is a huge fan of the movie. it was PERFECT!!!!

I gave these Christmas Story Leg Lamps Night Lights as early Christmas gifts. The people I gave them to are Christmas Story movie fans and they were delighted to say the least. The night lights are very cute - a really great novelty ... I even kept one for myself!

Bought 10 of these for my book group peeps' Christmas gifts and everyone just loved them! They are nicely made and in a cute box. I have one proudly displayed in our main floor bathroom for a night light and they put out a lot of light!

I ordered the Christmas Story Leg Lamp nightlight as a stocking stuffer and took a moment to pull it out of the box and look it over. My first reaction is that it is quite large and sturdy looking. This is definatly not a cheap little novelty toy but something that would be clearly seen when plugged into an outlet. The stand at the base is wide enough to support the weight of the nightlight so it can stand upright on a table or desk if you don't want to plug it in. The tassles on the lampshade are made of quality material and mine show no signs of fraying or unraveling. The on/off switch is cleverly hidden behind the tassles at the top of the leg so it can be easily accessed without detracting from appearence. In all I think this is a wonderful and sturdy product that is well worth the money.

We had a $10 limit on our office Christmas gift exchange. This was the perfect thing. The person who received it LOVES it.

We purchased a couple of these- one as a Christmas Gift and one as a Card Party prize- both times they were a huge HIT! Most adults know and love the "Christmas Story" Movie and immediately recognize this nightlight. "It's FRA GI LE"!
This little light is a perfect adult novelty. It's not a child's toy. It's larger than average nightlights and puts out a nice little glow from within the lampshade itself. It seems well made and we have had nothing but thanks and compliments from our happy recipients. We are very happy with the joy they brought to our friends!
