Formed in the West Midlands in 1987, Nedâs Atomic Dustbin were named after an episode of The Goon Show. The Nedâs slotted perfectly into the indie rock scene which was flourishing in the late 80âs and early 90âs in the UK with their guitar heavy thrash gaining widespread approval. Despite 5 Top 40 singles in the early 90âs the band went their own ways in 1995, but reformed in 2000 for a Christmas show in Dudley, West Midlands returning to their roots. The show was an enormous success and has been repeated every year since. This DVD was shot in 1993 and was their first scripted movie and contains 3 UK top 40âs together with 2 overseas Top 40 hits.
