I have bought several Neewer products... they've all been incredibly affordable, and all of good quality. This ring light is no exception. It's lightweight, fits my camera easily (Panasonic FZ200), and the specifications given are accurate (although they don't tell you precisely which cameras this unit will fit). It provides excellent light for macro work. You can use it for portraits, too (you have to be close to the subject), but be aware that any reflective surface that you photograph is going to reflect all 48 of the little lights... such a reflection can look strange in a person's eyes (a thin cloth or piece of paper over the light can remedy this quickly).

I thought I'd say a word about HOW the light fits different cameras, because the information on that was not clear to me before I received this unit. The light comes with six metal discs, all having the same external diameter, and each with a different sized flanged, threaded hole in the middle in six standard camera "filter" sizes. If you have an interchangeable-lens camera, this will fit on any of your standard lenses. If you own a bridge camera or any other fixed-lens camera with filter threads on the lens in one of these sizes (49mm, 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, 62mm, 67mm), it will fit your camera too. You choose the proper disc to match your lens size and screw into the filter threads. The back of the light has a slot that slides onto the disc. You then slide the battery holder into your camera's flash shoe. YOUR CAMERA MUST HAVE A FLASH SHOE or you will have to hold the battery holder in your hand or tape it to your camera... not very convenient. Also note: The battery holder is plastic at its base... it does not connect ELECTRONICALLY to the hot shoe but is docked there merely for the sake of convenience.

In some places, I've seen this light advertised saying, "Fits Canon, Nikon" etc., so I'll repeat what I said: This unit will fit ANY CAMERA that uses standard filter sizes.
