Item not as described. Description stated this was a "USB Charging Cable for Garmin Nuvi". However, item received was a standard USB data cable, not a charging cable as indicated. The Garmin Nuvi requires a power or charging USB cable when powered in the car. When using a standard USB data cable for power, the Garmin does not immediately recognize that it is not connected to a computer and requires considerable extra time to power up. This is just a standard USB data cable that you can purchase anywhere, there is nothing unique about it and is not suitable for powering the Garmin Nuvi from a non-computer power source (such as car or ac adapter).

This cable plugs in perfectly to my garmin nuvi 205w. I can plug it into my computer or into my usb car charger and it works great. I would recommend this item.

I purchased this usb cable for my garmin 265wt. I missed place the original one I have and tried to looked for a replacement at stores like BestBuy and they are too far too much pricing. If someone is looking for a replacement for their usb mini-5 pin, this is a good deal. It fits my garmin 265wt. I recommend this product.

This is a data cable. A charging cable allows the Garmin to open directly into the navigation mode without trying to establish communication with a computer first; this one doesn't.

This was to go with a gift of a Garmin that I purchased at Christmas time.
Was happy to find exactly just what I needed.

This cable fit my Garmin GPS perfectly. I thought it wasn't going to fit at first but its a very snug fit which isn't a bad thing. I needed this cable in order to do the updates for my GPS. If you have a 250W this cable will fit it!
