This was easy to assemble, retains humidity nicely, and looks pretty good. It also keeps our cats out, even the one who likes to eat plants. The contents are completely visible and easy to access.

I left out the top and third shelves to have room for taller plants (I did keep the third shelf's center support bar in, for stability; it might do fine without that, but I didn't want to chance it). The greenhouse plastic doesn't cover the bottom, so I set it on an old, folded plastic dropcloth to protect the floor and have had no trouble.

EDITED TO ADD: I've since gotten a second one of these, and once again left out the top and third shelves. This time, though, I left out the third shelf's center support bar. It's perfectly stable, even with two heavy pots on the now-uppermost shelf.

EDITED AGAIN TO ADD: From reading the other reviews on here, it sounds like what I received (directly from Neptune both times, through eBay) is different from what some other people have received. Mine are sturdy, hold heavy pots with ease, and neither came with nor need zip ties. I wouldn't call them industrial-strength, and I use them indoors and would want to anchor them if I had them out in the wind, but mine aren't flimsy.

No tools needed for assembly. Came with all required parts - undamaged.
Overall, great quality! Appears to be well designed.

I wish the greenhouse included a bottom, for water collection.

Would purchase this item again for myself or as a gift.

I've used this greenhouse two seasons and it has been great. Super easy to assemble, no hardware required (or to loose). If you live in a windy area I suggest you secure it against a fence or railing. Super deal for the price. I am buying a couple more for this year! The best thing is it is small enough to put in your garage if you need to winter over some plants or will quickly disasemble for storage.

I find the product particularly useful for getting spring seedlings out of the house and into outdoor light, where they always do much better. However, two words of caution: (1) The product has no resistance to wind. If there is any wind at all in your area, either tie it to a post or block it against a wall with something heavy. If you don't do this, it will topple at some point. (2) Do NOT zip the zippers if you put the item in full sun. You will cook your plants. I have found that it works best in a gazebo that gets morning sun and afternoon shade. Even a little sun will raise the temperature in this thing quite a bit. Otherwise, it's a great product and highly recommended.

Completely flimsy- I should have known from the price, but the other reviews were good so I gave it a chance. DO NOT BUY THIS mini green-house. It is a complete piece of garbage. It doesn't stay together, you cannot move it once you put it anywhere, and the cover barely fits over the top. When I zipped it closed the seams split. My husband was making fun of me for buying it when I was putting it together, and I told him the online reviews said it was sturdy. He asked me if maybe I read the review wrong and it had said the opposite of sturdy?
I used it for 2 weeks and then threw it out. Total hunk of junk. It came with horrible instructions and zip ties that I guess were to keep it from disintegrating.

Item was delivered quickly but was not what I expected. The shelving was not even or stable. The shelves was not able to hold much weight.

Very simple to put together... Fits easily in my garage and holds plenty of pots and plants. I'm looking forward to starting my seeds in this too.

The downsides: This things fall apart and blows over very easily. We were careful assembling it, put it on level concrete, and tried to put it in a location where it wouldn't catch the wind (not hard, since we live in a neighborhood) and it still blew over. We loaded the bottom shelf down with a lot of weight. It hasn't fallen over since then, but pieces on the top still work their way loose and come apart occasionally.

The upside: It is a pretty cheap little greenhouse. The vent on the top of the plastic cover is handy, and I like the opening on the front. It's easy to unzip both sides and throw the door out of your way while you tend to your plants.


So overall I like the cover and not the shelves. For the price I would recommend just buying a sturdy shelving unit somewhere else and finding a plastic cover for it.

I got a lot of use out of this greenhouse so far. It was kind of tricky to assemble because the instructions really sucked and you kinda have to put it together with electrical ties for extra support. It you have to move it from one location to another it totally crumbles! But if you leave it in one place it will work just fine in a small space.

All parts were included, and it literally took 9 minutes to assemble with 2 kittens "assisting". I've never purchased a product so easy to put together! The final result is suprisingly sturdy and versatile. I ordered two of these and am already looking around for spaces to put more of them. A truly great product for indoors or out!
