Mine won't plug in to my NES control deck either. The connector at the end of the cord (that is supposed to plug into the console) is too big. Unfortunately, this is a major problem that renders the product useless. Too bad--it LOOKS nice, and the buttons feel sturdy, etc. Maybe I'll hang it on my wall for a decoration.
From now on, I'll GLADLY pay a few extra dollars for a refurbished original name-brand product, rather that try to save money with one of these cheap generic knock-offs. Another lesson learned the hard way...

The controller came with two major problems. Number one, its hollow inside, so there is no way in hell it will ever work unless God grants me a miracle. Number two, the plug doesn't even fit into the console. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

I'm very upset b/c the NES controller I bought for my sister doesn't even work. You shouldn't sell broken items and claim that they are as good as new.

When i got his controller today It looked promising but i plugged it in and started to play Ninja Gaiden ........ only to figure out that the only button that worked was the B button.

It gets the job done, however it's very cheaply made and broke fast. Clap. Clap.

Get an official controller. Stay away from this garbage.

piece of junk!!! and when i called in to return this piece of junk i never got a response. cost more to ship this piece of garbage than it's worth. was not able to get it to work on anything.

I love playing the NES but had no idea where my controllers ended up after the move, so I ordered new ones. I like these, only problem is that you can't pull on them too hard or else they will come out.

It works great, and it's a good price, however there is a nick in the cord, which was not listed on the description.

I bought this controller on a gamble and I'm VERY glad I did. It works perfectly and feels just like an NES controller. I've been using it on a Famiclone (a RetroN 3 console, to be exact) and I've experienced no problems whatsoever with it. In fact I was able to get pretty far on games like Kung Fu and Ninja Gaiden, so I rest my case. If people have bought defective controllers, they should take it up with the seller directly rather than claiming all controllers sold by them are garbage. I'm glad I bought this controller and I plan to buy another in the future!

This product is a piece of crap off brand, hollowed out, flimsy, cheaply made, non-Nintendo controller. DO NOT BUY THIS, it is gar gar. Hot Gar Gar. the worst kind of gar gar there is. Seriously, would barely fit into the plug in port, had to be filed down CAREFULLY. But none of the buttons worked, so i check the inside and there were no insides. No wonder it felt so light, no insides! WOWZERS. could someone say, check please? so we can move on a forget we ever bought this hot garbage.
