i got this a few months ago and loved it. held well to the window and it prevented my cell phone from sliding around the car when i placed it on the center console or the armrest. it worked great until the weather got cold. i live in chicago and as soon as it got below 30 degrees, the seal wouldn't hold to the window and it fell off. i'll use it in the summertime, but it doesn't work in the winter.

It is very useful if you use your cell phone while you are driving and don't want to get a ticket. You can use your phone without holding it. The holders on the sides adjust to every cell phone or mp3 devices.

It looks fairly cheap, but it serves it's purpose and it works pretty well holding my G1 even through the rough bumps in the road, my phone has not fallen.

Nothing flashy about this, but it does get the job done and works well. Especially for the price.

Generally, these universal-type products aren't perfect for anything and work less-than-satisfactory with everything. I used this mounting unit with a (Google) G1 and a Nexus One and find it very mediocre. The unit itself is made of decent quality materials and the spring mechanism has not failed in the 2 months I've used it (this mechanism applies pressure and will release when a button is pressed.) However, I found the need to glue a foam spacer in the clasping mechanism to accommodate the width of my phone. Cannot heartily recommend this one for the G1 or the Nexus One.

If you're looking for a cheap car mount this is it. My myTouch 3G stays secure in it but it wobbles a bit while driving but always stays up and phone never falls out.

The adhesive on this product does not work, did not stick to windshield, fell off before it was on for even a day. Totally useless this way.

If you are looking for a simple and effective holder for your smart phone in the car, this does the trick. It gets four stars instead of five because the hold on the phone isn't as tight as I would like and it wobbles a little. That said it's never yet fallen out.

This phone cradle is fine, is able to hold my phone and stick on the windshield. I guess I didn't think it through, though because it shakes a lot when you drive and will only stick to the windshield so placement is a little inconvenient.
