I was eagerly awaiting this book and just received it today and just finished reading it in about 15 minutes. I must admit I was quite disappointed. Somehow I thought there was going to be some fresh, new ideas but the "path" is simply to create a well written, content-rich website that is SEO friendly and ranks high in Google for its search terms (no simple task) and then populate it with AdSense and become an affiliate marketer for various products. There's nothing new or innovative being revealed here.

This little book is just fantastic! It has completely opened my eyes to the huge opportunity that lies in creating income-generating websites about topics I'm already passionate about. In fact, it has enabled me to pinpoint why one of my websites has always struggled to make money. Using Nick's ideas and strategies from this book, I will soon be reworking my entire strategy and approach with that site.

If this economic downturn has taught us anything it's that depending on just one source of income (your employer) is foolish. In this book, Nick shows you how to develop a passive income stream that will help you diversify how you earn a living, giving you more freedom, choices and peace of mind.

Nick makes a convincing case for why you don't have to be a qualified expert in a particular topic to earn a nice passive income from a website. He explains, in great detail, why people don't just want to learn from pros. And why they often prefer to learn (and buy) from other regular folks who share their passion. In other words...you and me!

I also applaud Nick for steering clear of all the hype surrounding making money online. He paints a very realistic picture of the opportunity -- stressing the fact that time, effort and passion for the subject are the biggest ingredients necessary for success. Just as important, he practices what he preaches. All of his advice is based on his in-the-trenches experience building and growing money-making websites.

Overall, this is a wonderful book. I have marked more than a dozen pages containing great ideas and action items. And I can't wait to put them into practice!

I recommend Nick Usborne's New Path to Riches for many reasons, but--most important--I respect its realism and restraint. It's a very credible and useful introduction to the topic.

For too long, the majority of books about Internet marketing have included the word "millionaire" in their title. Nick's book, however, avoids making such claims.

Instead, it describes how he created a part-time, "enthusiast" site that earns him $4,000 a month in passive, or residual, income. This is a far more realistic approach that doesn't oversell prospective readers.

What I especially like is the fact that he balances the success that he's achieving with his [...]. site, with his admission that online success can never be "guaranteed"--that his success with the coffee site is balanced by other sites that don't produce as much income for him each month.

The above level of candor, alone, puts Nick Usborne's New Path to Riches in a class of its own.

In the book's 9 chapters, Nick provides an overview of the basics of online marketing--and the revolution that Google has created--with enough details to substantiate his claims. His arguments about the inability of traditional media to properly serve niche markets is especially strong. His example of the "garden bridge" website does the best job of driving home the power of the Internet to allow individuals to profit from under-served niche markets of any I've seen.

I left New Path to Riches with a new enthusiasm for rethinking some of my previous "too crazy to try" web marketing ideas and a desire to reposition some of my current websites to do a better job of appealing to fewer visitors.

Definitely worth buying if you're considering developing one, or more, niche websites to smooth out your monthly cashflow with minimum risk.

He provides good device that anybody can apply, but don't expect to necessarily become rich. It's a nice roadmap for becoming successful if you follow the advice and scale it to many sites, though.

Usually, as a matter of principle, I do not buy any books that promise the reader the guaranteed path to success, but every now and then I need a slap in the face, I guess. The not-so-literal slap in the face came with buying and reading New Path to Riches by Nick Usborne. My hope was to learn intimate details about creating a money-making web site, but his book is a 150+ page collection of mindless blabbering that reads like the presentation of a motivational speaker. There is absolutely NOTHING in this book that you cannot find on the Internet free-of-charge. There is close to NULL profound information on how to create a web site and make it work - as I said before, just mind-boggling bla, bla, bla, and... bla. Don't waste your money with this book. Spend a few minutes on the Internet and get REAL information.

I picked up Nick Usborne's "New Path To Riches" out of loyalty to Nick - a fellow copywriter. When I closed the last page I was hooked on the concept of creating a money-making website that'll ease my retirement years. Nick doesn't claim it is effortless at the beginning of the process. He doesn't promise you'll become an instant millionaire. What he does promise, in easy to understand phrases for a Luddite like me, is a way to turn a hobby, a passion, or just an interest, into a stream of steady money that will help pay my bills for years to come.

As a small business owner working from home, there are times when business slows down (not often, but it does happen). I wanted to find another way to produce income during those times, and have it also be something I love already - researching, writing, and providing information. Purchasing New Path to Riches by Nick Usborne was genius.

Nick Usborne simplifies the money-making website concept with his guide, New Path to Riches. With the economy creating new entrepreneurs by the hundreds, we brave souls who look to find additional income streams to fish from want to have the shortest distance to success. Not get-rich-quick, just additional income by putting forth a little effort. And a fail-safe plan doesn't hurt either.

In New Path, I had ideas jumping out at me before I hit the halfway point. And by the end, I knew the exact steps to take to begin making money from websites. Nick has been making money for years, and using his approach, the only way I can fail is by not doing anything with this knowledge.

I found this book to be full of good basic information about getting your own website up and making you money. Will it make you a millionaire over night like some"guru's" claim they can do for you? No, but if your not Jack and the beanstalk or your not waiting for someone to put an ice cream cone in your hand before you decide to taste the product; this is the book for you. Not super details but enough information for you to decide if it's the business [and it is a business with work involved]for you.

The real value of this book is finding and producing the right content for your website. Everything else will follow good content.
