NEW Return Of The Ultra Vixen (DVD)

Our 'video' review for the month is not actually a video. Our first DVD review is Return of the Ultra Vixens. Amazon.com sells the DVD and apparently there is a video but it may be out of print.

Starring in this 72 minute feature are Pandora Peaks, Lulu Devine, Fantasia, Kim Eternity, Candy, and in all too few minutes, Alexis Love. Produced and directed by D Kelly Marsalis for Setec Astronomy Productions, you will both love and hate this production.

First a few overview comments: Pandora's segment is a cinema-verité documentary style look at the stunning performer. In fact he shoots her in her apartment dressing and never shows her face or her breasts until she hits the street.

Fantasia romps by the seaside. Candy walks around LA naked. Kim takes us into her boudoir and then her bathroom. And Lulu has three scenes and they all will make you scratch your head.

Alexis Love shows up for about five minutes of teasing poolside imagery as well as four or five wonderful stills in the photo section of the DVD.

The film begins with a long and exciting montage. Marsalis's images are often breathtaking and - just as often - puzzling. I think the production tells us more about him than the subjects in his viewfinder. There are a number of fetishes displayed here. Besides an obvious predilection for breasts that are off-the charts in size, Marsalis likes feet, shoes, women smoking, and public nudity. Or, he thinks we do.

My hunch is that this production was about his likes. And that's fine. Marsalis pays homage to the Personally Yours series from Xavier Productions in both style and content. He even cuts in images of Casey James and Busty Dusty from their Personally Yours videos. That series seemed more about its Director David Christopher and his editor Bud Swope than the models. Quick jump cuts, many FX, switching back and forth between color and monochrome were all done to excess by Swope/Christopher. Here it's not to excess, but quite evident.

Often repeated throughout on the soundtrack are the words, "Where do we go from here?" I'd like to know this myself. A sequel is promised but it has not appeared yet. So we shall see. But we did go with Kim in her car as she squeezed and fondled herself while driving on the freeway. We also wasted time watching Kim look at her own website on a PC.

Candy soaked her feet in the bathroom sink, and then she went shopping for boots. Lulu blew smoke in our faces, cruised into a store nearly naked, and then she hung out near the railroad tracks as a slow moving freight train rolled by. That's what I didn't care for.

Of course there was plenty that I did like in this production. Alexis Love is always a supreme pleasure to look at. She can easily be described as jaw-droppingly awesome. Kim's bathtub and rub-on-the-baby-oil scene was great.

Lulu's bosom is the biggest in the production and she is captured walking around in the underbelly of LA wearing barely more than shoes and jewelry at times. She also brandishes whips and chains to set off her startling huge chest. Why whips? I don't know. Maybe Marsalis reads the reviews and will let me know.

Additionally, Candy - who gets more on-screen time than the rest - is a long-legged, raven-haired beauty, but her 'assets' are the smallest of the bunch.

As for a rating - let's go with 3.75 stars out of five.
Good-looking models with amazing figures, fine imagery, and an excellent sound track are the pluses.

The minuses are too many editing gimmicks, and too much time wasted on the director's foot-and-ladies'-shoes fetish and other non-essential scenes for a video purportedly paying homage to busty ladies.

Well I just got a DVD player for Christmas and this was the first thing I put in to look at. . .

I could not believe my eyes seeing some of the outragous stunts these Vixens pulled off in public in broad day light. The parts where Lulu Devin is walking around nude and seeing the reactions alone is worth the price of the DVD. It has some of the big names in Big Bust and I thought the music was awesome too.
Being a Big Bust Super Model myself, I was quite impressed with the directors style and his balls to do these crazy feats that are super sexy to boot!!!
Anyone who is a fan of big busted woman and Russ Meyer styled videos will love "Return Of The Ultra Vixens"!
The DVD is high quality and it ranks near the top of my erotic video list. It's not hard core trash but a real erotic art type of film that will probally become a cult classic.

This video has the same style as the Pandora Peaks solo video "Visions and Voyeurism"(out of print). The director's style is to place naked busty models in public places with hidden cameras to capture people's reactions as well as the model. The editing style is to use quick clips and to loop through the same scene. Most of the models don't get to talk, so you don't really get to know what they're like.

The highlight of the video is Alexis Love. She has only made one other video that is exclusive to the Score Group. Her segment as well as Pandora Peaks and Fantasia's are too short.

Other high points are Lulu Devine (too bad her sister Topsy Curvey was not here as well) and two one second clips of Casey James and Busty Dusty. I hope the next video in this series will feature Casey James and Busty Dusty.

I bought this DVD title thinking it was a new Russ Meyer release but I quickly came to discover something far more exciting and really hot, Director D.Kelly Marsalis! This guy knows just what any fan of the pin-up genre wants to see! Return of The Ultra Vixens is a romp and a visual delight in every way. Great shocking and erotic visuals, a hot soundtrack and some of the biggest breast walking flashing in broad daylight that anyone has ever seen!

Simply, there is nothing like this DVD out there and this is some of the best stuff I have seen. As a exotic dancer and fan of the Big Bust Feature performer all the big names are here Lulu Devine, Pandora Peaks, Fantasia, Kim Eternity and a rare look at the great Alexis Love! I find myself looking at this DVD over and over, It has some really good up close and detail interviews with the girls and I can't say enough about the what this DVD was put together. Director D.Kelly Marsalis is the best I've seen since the Russ Meyer's stuff. The DVD is just real and in your face high art with lots of shock value and his style is so diffrent from all the rest of the Playboy and Penthouse stuff.

I hope that there is more Ultra Vixens to come from Mr.Marsalis as this is probally the best DVD I have seen in quite while in the pin-up genre.

Return of the Ultra Vixens is one hour and twelve minutes and was released on April 17, 2001; I assume direct to video. This movie, if you want to call it that, is on the same par as a Penthouse house DVD. There are six big busty breast women do stuff in several different scenes. They are taking a bath, trying on shoes, walking in the nude, playing in the swimming pool and more. Read the review by OriginalJustMeMike if you want more details about what the vixens are doing. The six Ultra Vixens in this DVD are: Alexis Love, Candy, Fantasia, Kim Eternity, Lulu Devin, and Pandora Peaks. The three main downside to this video are not all the ladies featured look that hot with inflated breasts and two some of the breasts sag so badly that you want to stick a pin in them and deflate them back to normal size. The third and final downside is that you do not know what lady is in what scene. In conclusion unless you like big busty ladies, then this video is best viewed with a case or two of beer around. The Return of the Ultra Vixens gets a C+ for average content.

This DVD could've been a five star production. Instead, it is simply a wasted opportunity. How the producer of any DVD could have Alexis Love (AKA Joyce Gibson/Mandel), easily one of the most beautiful and sexy women of all time, signed to appear in their production and NOT give her top billing and more on screen time is simply ridiculous.

Attempting to be "artsy", this film does have its moments of creativity. Unfortunately, there are some just plain horribly UN-sexy moments here. And yes, some of the models featured are also just plain un-sexy. Big breasted, cigarette smoking Lulu looks as though she been around the block not once, not twice, but maybe three hundred and fifty thousand times at least?

And the creepy foot and shoe fetish footage just makes this DVD even more of a waste, since this time could've been spent documenting the unequaled splendors of gorgeous Alexis Love, the appearance of whom is the ONLY reason I don't give this thing a one star rating. The producer of this DVD is a moron, plain and simply.

They use Pandora to sell this DVD but she is hardly on it. They foucus mainly on to lesser know ladies. They only tease you with several other "Head Liners".

Well, if you want to see Pandora this is just a tease. While all the girls look gorgeous, its more art than skin. Its a must for light viewing. No men involved, just lovely women to be appreciated.
