The lights worked great. LEDs are neat. "Stuff For Boats" shipped the order promptly and kept me informed via email. Great company.

I am very pleased with the light kit that I ordered and I especially liked the fast turn around of the order. I was pleasantly surprised to find a hand written thank you inside my order. I find this kind of courtesy hard to come by anymore and was pleased that an individual took the time to hand write it. This outfit "stuff4boats" comes highly recommended on my first dealings with them. I hope they continue that kind of customer service in the future.

I received this product as expected. My experience with the company's notification and the sale is excellent. The tail lights work perfectly. It is likely I did not read the ad fully but I expected side lights from prior experience buying trailer lights. I would have liked the ad to read "no sidelights". Nonetheless, I am happy with the lights and the company.

The good: Great price through Amazon. The install took me a while as the light didn't fit into the old holes in the trailer. Made up some brackets (1) to drop the point of attachment and (2) better license plate bracket, no big deal. Much brighter than conventional bulbs and being submersible is a bonus.

The bad: within 60 days, two of the LEDs on the right hand side light burned out, the remaining nine are still burning strong for now. Installation hardware is missing for the license plate. I did not use the included license bracket as it is a little flimsy. Wiring harness is very light duty, but I was able to use the existing trailer wiring. The ground terminal snapped off immediately when I tried to slip it over the mounting bolt. Replaced the terminal in favor of one with a larger hole and it worked fine.

when i buy something i research for hours until im sure i got the best deal. I've had these on since July and they are a great item. Both lights have worked great and the manufacturer even included all stainless steel hardware. I didn't have to buy a single thing to get these installed out of the package. Just make sure you use a cobalt drill bit if you need to drill any holes. The steel on my trailer was hardened & extremely tough but the cobalt bit went through like butter.

Very nice! My boat trailer is a 1969 model and the new lights make it look quite modern. Bright in running light mode and VERY bright when on the brake. I was able to leave them hooked up while in the water all summer no problems. They helped guide the trailer down the ramp and my boat on the trailer after dark as well. Highly recommended.

Other writers are correct - the studs (bolts) are a little short, but they worked OK for me - I am going through about 1/4" thick steel. The bolts get a little longer as you tighten them down, as the heads sink into the plastic holders which help prevent them from turning as you tighten. One thing to note is that these led lights are not grounded by the housing bolts/studs as is a normal trailer light. Instead, there is a small grounding wire coming from inside the housing which must be attached to the trailer frame or you must run this ground wire to the white ground wire on your wiring harness. The ground wire is short - about 8" long and has an eyelet on the end which will accommodate a small screw or bolt to fasten it onto the trailer frame. Lights are bright and the housing and lenses are relatively sturdy.

I just received these light and was initially very pleased with them. They seem to be good quality. However, the connecting jack (plug) was not compatible with the standard US jack that was already installed from the previous lights. It differed from what is usual in the United States. I had to test it all out with a meter and reverse the wires on the jack that came with these lights. I really should not have had to jury rig them in order to get them to work. If I did not already have trailer lights, and used all of the wiring that came with the lights, all would probably have been fine. Also, there was no way for me to contact the seller. I had to contact Amazon, and the rep didn't have a clue, and couldn't tell me how to reach either the seller or the manufacturer. Maybe if the rep was located in the US instead of India, I might have had better luck. Unless you are prepared to rewire your towing vehicle, these lights might not be what you want.

Lights are terrific. The only thing is that the mounting bolts are extremely short, and at least one of them turned while tightening the nuts. It was especially difficult to install the one with the license plate bracket as with that added thickness the bolts were flush with the holes in the bracket. Some creativity was required to complete the installation. Despite that, I still love the lights.
