When I was ready to remove the first strip of wallpaper with this product I thought to myself, I doubt this is going to work. Wow, I was wrong. We stripped a guest bathroom and may do more in the house now that I see how effective this product works.
I've stripped old wallpaper before using the gel and the steamer methods (both very messy). This product is not only easy to use, but not messy to work with. I increased the concentration in the bucket from 4 oz. to 6 oz. per gallon and it worked very well for me.
I was stripping single layers only, so I can't address multi or painted over applications, but the majority of my sheets pulled off in whole sections. I had a couple of spots where it started to tear the surface of the drywall, but I just went back after removing the majority of the wallpaper sheet and used a small section of the product's "cloth" to cover that area again. They then all removed very easily. I believe those were probably my fall for not making sure that the "cloth" was stuck well to the wallpaper.
I purchased an extra bottle of the solution in case I wanted to do more than two rooms. This also put me over the company's $60 limit to receive free two-day shipping. The product was shipped from Minnesota, I believe, and was at my door in Virginia in two days.
Excellent Product!

Just this week I successfully stripped an entire fairly large house's wallpaper with one of these. Instructions are printed on the label, and this is part of the Wallwik system that's very easy to use. i already had the scoring tool so didn't need the kit, but I find their paste busting solution is one of the best.

I find it so much easier than using a steamer. I used double-strength as directed for a couple of the rooms as they had wallpaper three layers thick and also had to increase the soaking time.

I have never done a product review before, but I feel obliged in this case because Wallwik can save so much time and effort.
I am renovating (DIY) a house that looked as if each room had been gift wrapped--wallpaper in all the main rooms, the closets, behind built in bookshelves, even on crawl-space covers. I started with the home remedies, because I am cheap--the vinegar, fabric softener, just pulling and peeling. When that didn't work I moved on to the DIF with the paper tiger. These work, but it is very labor intensive (my whole right side started to hurt) and very slow. I also did the steamer, which is about the same speed as DIF, but HOT, and really awkward in small spaces.
Then I found Wallwik. Fair to say it has saved me WEEKS in renovation time. You can do a big room in a day. It's really that good. Worth every penny.
Things I wish I had known before using Wallwik:
1. You have to follow the directions to the letter if you want it to work like magic. Watch the video on utube. Score the paper, spray the paper, put the sheets on, keep them wet, leave it on for 30 minutes (longer for multiple layers). If you skip any of the steps or don't leave it on for long enough you will think it doesn't work, but it DOES!
2. Buy the kit if you are just starting out--it has everything you need in one place.
3. The sheets can be reused (just rinse them) and cut up to fit small spaces.
4. Wallpaper removal professionals (and Home Depot) will claim not to know about Wallwik. Seriously.
Good luck, it's a messy job, but the walls look great after you are finished.

I've used this product in several rooms now and it's taken maybe an hour to remove all the wallpaper, and I've had wallpaper over paint and wallpaper directly on the drywall. I would recommend this to anyone that is planning on renovating and needs to remove wallpaper.

We bought a 100 year old house from people that loved wallpaper. There are 6 rooms that have at least one layer of wallpaper in them. We bought the wallwik solution, strips and sprayer on recommendation from a family member. We had so much to do that we went for the larger professional kit instead of the home use kit. To our surprise the first room that we did had 3 layers of wallpaper over painted plaster. Luckily they had painted it before putting up the original wallpaper many moons ago. We bought the tiger scorer and went to town, sprayed the wall, soaked the sheets, applied them and sprayed every ten minutes for 40 minutes. The first layer came down in perfect sheets. The 2nd layer nearly came down in perfect sheets, where it didn't were places we didn't score hard enough or keep wet enough. We put the sheets on for another 15 minutes and the third layer would not come off the wall. I think this had more to do with the type of wallpaper it was b/c it had fabric at the ceiling that was glued in place to hold it there. We used a scraper and without ANY effort at all, the 3rd layer just scraped right off. It was as easy to scrape off as spackling was to put on. At the celing, we had to cut the fabric and rip it.. but I've never seen wallpaper like that and I'm really hoping it isn't lurking behind the wallpaper in the other 5 rooms. There were two of us working on this project but b/c we were busy with other projects, we worked on this project one person at a time. It took about 4 hours from scoring to clean up for a 10 x 12 room. We bought two packages of sheets and had enough to do a full wall at a time. You will want to ventilate the room if you plan to be in there awhile. The stuff doesn't smell bad but after an hour or so locked in a small room, I wanted some fresh air.
