Founding member of Text of Light group with Lee Ranaldo; other participants have included William Hooker, DJ Olive, Christian Marclay, Ulrich Krieger, and Tim Barnes. Performances combine live improvisations with films by Stan Brakhage. Concerts in New York, Philadelphia, Real Art Ways (Hartford CT), Pompidou Center (Paris), Berlin, Walker Arts Center (Minneapolis). CDs forthcoming.

Founding member of the bands Run On (1993-1998), Love Child (1988-1993). Toured and recorded two albums of original material with both bands. Current member of The Pacific Ocean. Toured as a guitarist with Tom Verlaine (2001), Brokeback (2001), Papa M (1999-2000), Royal Trux (1999), Plush (1999), Arthur Lee & Love (1993, 1994).

Multiple guitar arrangement of the piece "Betty Ford" performed by Sap Dream Electric Guitar Quartet at the New York Guitar Festival, 2002; performance broadcast on John Schaefer’s "New Sounds" program, WNYC

Performed Phill Niblock’s work at Roulette, Roulette TV, Experimental Intermedia, Tonic, and the Brooklyn Anchorage; also organized performances of multiple guitar pieces by David First, David Watson, and Robert Poss in conjunction with the Niblock concert at the Anchorage (2001).

Sound installations: TBA, Diapason, fall 2003; "Today I Am A Fountain Pen", Studio Five Beekman, NYC (1998) "The Downsizing of Don Dokken", part of "Constrictions" exhibition at Pierogi 2000, Brooklyn (1996).

Author of the book An Emotional Memoir of Martha Quinn (Drag City Press, 2001), a personal essay about music in the 80’s & 90’s.
