Wonderful!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Next-Door Neighbors (Hardcover)
This book is about a girl named Peggy who's dad is a minister. The family moves to a new home in Canada. Peggy goes to school and wants to make friends with the popular people. In order to get them to like her she tells a lie that she has a horse. They're all friends for awhile until one girl finds out the secret.Peggy then makes friends with the Asian man who keeps house of her next door neighbor. It's a great story of how they become friends.

The " Marvelous" Next-Door Puppeters,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Next-Door Neighbors (Hardcover)
This story takes place in a city during the years 1957-1958. Puppets took a very important role in those days.
This book is mostly about a 12 year old girl whose name is Peggy. She is a new girl at school and city, she has to meet a whole bunch of people. She meets two new neighbors that help her out a lot. Her neighbor and she enter a puppet contest and try to win it. In my opinion this book is a great guide if you are new somewhere. It explains how a girl goes from shy to confident. I would recommend this book because it motivates you to have confidence in yourself.
