Despite the nostalgia that tapes like this inevitably provide (in good years or in bad), I would have preferred a more "clinical" approach to the 1999 Packers highlights. Instead of "looking ahead" to the Mike Sherman Era, I wanted to see more action from the actual '99 season. Yeah, I know the team only went 8-8, but each year has its memorable moments no matter how disappointing.For the next highlight reel, I hope the "building for the future" angle is canned in favor of a week-by-week synopsis of the preceding season. |
