Product Description

NFL GameDay 2003 boasts beefed-up arcade-style gameplay that translates into monstrous hits and awesome plays. Total authenticity bleeds into every detail of the game, right down to the addition of the latest expansion teams. Big plays and big tackles abound and new gameplay features allow offensive players to break tackles, stiff-arm defenders or dive over the pile of would-be tacklers for the winning touchdown. The updated Total Control Passing system lets receivers be underthrown or led in any direction by simply pressing the directional pad, making tremendous one-handed catches possible by receivers tight-roping down the sideline. Whether you're getting a workout in Training Camp mode, taking on all comers in Exhibition or Season modes or strapping on the helmet for multiple seasons as coach, player and general manager in General Manager mode, NFL GameDay scores a big touchdown.

4.0 out of 5 stars OKAY December 26, 2002

This game might not be Madden but it sure can compete with it. Yea the only downside in PSX is the graphics and it dosent have a franchise mode, but it has a general manager which almost the same. The game also has a few twiches, like saying cowboys in the home of the houston texans. Also it has updated rosters and stadiums which is kewl, overall the game is alright.

This is the best football game I've ever played. It has great graphics. After every hit the controller vibrates like I'm in it. I think you should buy this game. It's great.

1.0 out of 5 stars Whose bright idea was this? August 17, 2002
This game is Ok as far as an update goes. But when you play the Houston Texans, the announcer says "Welcome to Houston, where the *cowboys* in the stands..." I mean are these guys so STUPID that they don't realize many Houston fans HATE the Cowboys? Or maybe the programmers are ranked in the same low classification. Probably the latter. Houston fans, beware
