5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for any Steeler fan (and I Guess Cowboy fan too), December 28, 2000

Being a Pittsburgh Steeler fan my whole life and watching the black and gold win four Super Bowls in the 1970s is one of the joys of my childhood. I have always though that the '70s Steelers were the best football team of all time, past or present. This video uses computer-generated special effects with archival footage to create a fantasy football game between another great team the 1990s Dallas Cowboys.

There are some great key matchups like: Emmitt Smith vs. "Mean" Joe Green, Lynn Swann vs. Deion Sanders, Troy Aikman vs. Jack Lambert, and Franco Harris vs. Ken Norton, Jr.

This is "what if" history at its best. I won't tell you who wins but it is a great game. The video is very lifelike and plays like a regular NFL football game that you would watch on television. My only complaint is that the video is only 47 minutes long.

ESPN's Joe Theisman and Mike Patrick call the game along with the legend himself Howard Cosell.

5.0 out of 5 stars Won't be disappointed, January 25, 2002

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, but I think I enjoyed it even more than he did! Growing up in Western Pennsylvania during the 1970s, I didn't have much interest in football at that time, so it was great to be able to see the Steel Curtain in action and appreciate those remarkable players now. I won't say who won this "Matchup of the Millenium," but win or lose, being able to see the original footage of the 1970s Steelers is worth double the price of this video.
