I was expecting something cheaper, but its actually good thick cotton, and seems likes it withstand some grease and being ran through the washer without falling apart.

It's hard to be disappointed with something as simple as an apron and chef hat. I got what the picture showed me (minus the guy and the white shirt). My husband will get a real kick out of his Christmas present :)

Great material, hat is an extra very nice touch to complete the uniform. Really does help you not make a mess especially when cooking ribs or anything else saucy.
