5.0 out of 5 stars A great alternative to NF( No Fun League)
With all the limitation the NFL has put out this year: No TD Celebrations, No Dancing; No Taunting, it's no surprising that Chad Johnson is on the cover of this title.

With all the limitation the NFL has put out this year: No TD Celebrations, No Dancing; No Taunting, it's no surprising that Chad Johnson is on the cover of this title.

This is all about street football: where it doesn't matter how you win, as long as you look good doing it!

Major improvements over NFL Street 2: You can completely control the GAMEBREAKER feature this time around. Instead of activating GameBreaker during pre-snap, you can activate it after: Deliver a bone-crushing blow on defense or deliver a bullet-accurate pass on offense: You use it when you the time is right!

For those who never played the series; here it is in a nutshell: There are no refs, no penalties, no problems! Its about you building a team and traveling from town to town, facing a team of amatuers. The more you win, the better your team gets and the more respect you earn. Earn enough respect and you will be facing NFL teams and if you are good enough, you will be facing Chad himself at the end.

Complete certain feats and get unlockables that will improve your game. You can even unlock old-time NFL greats!

High-Octane game like this should please any NFL fan that likes excitement. If you hate attitude-type football, then this game might not be for you and perhaps you should give Madden series a try instead.

4.0 out of 5 stars Strange experience, May 14, 2009
A Kid's Review
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: NFL Street 3 (Video Game)
This is a very strange game. It's fun but all in all it just isn't the best.

The controls are okay and graphics aren't special. The players are just NFL players and there are no Street charaters like in Street NBA. The two things I really enjoyed were the Minigames- Crush the Carrier is the best- where you play random skills.

The Respect the Street mode, or Career mode, was also fun. Overall this game was an ok experience. It's nothing special but if you like games that have quick sports game this is the game for you.

Scale 1.0 to 5.0

Graphics:3.0

Controls:2.0

Gameplay:4.0

Sound:1.0 (Grunting, screaming, and horrible music.)

Overall: 3.0

It's NFL Street... again. I guess since I haven't played NFL Street since way back when it first came out, I don't really notice all the new stuff and differences, but it's still a great game. I was looking for an alternate for Madden, a little more action a little less GM type stuff. This is about it. Make a team, play games, gain stats, and repeat. Good game.

In Street 2 jumping off walls was an awkward gaming experience but playable. Street 1 was the best of the series because it was pure street football, no jumping and cartwheeling all over the place. Thats why the fun rating went down, Other than that it Crushes Madden. Hey EA maybe football is your forte. But leave the sim to ESPN 2K.
