Well... This is no doubt a nice game. Good graphics, running plays are unstoppable with Marshall Faulk. Once you get Terell Owens open, woosh and pow! The ball is being carried into the endzone. Defense... the dreaded word.

Defense is really hard to use in this game. I was playing with the all time classics. Lawrence Taylor came flying at the offense. Thinking he was going to take his head off, the game sort of skipped and he was standing there struggling with the RB. Let me make that clear FLYING to STRUGGLING! The thing that made it worse was that the man had got pass Lawrence Taylor (sort of impossible if you think about it) and got a TD!

Offense is wonderful! My RB just rips through the D and goes in for the TD. Very few times do I fumble it though.Passing plays are also nice in this game. For example the Hitch and Go. The ball is snapped to the QB. Set up Terell Owens for it and you have a nice 60-80 play (I'm guessing.). One thing though. Walter Payton is running at the speed of light, wildin and stylin. All of a sudden here comes Chubby McChubby and he tackles Payton. For the computer its easy like Sunday morning! I don't know why, but a fat guy somehow gets up the field? I don't think so.

Gamebreakers are the key to winning. I must admit, it's impossible, but I suck at defensive gamebreakers! Offensive Gamebreakers are only useful for scrubs who can't play good running plays. Like I said, Gamebreakers will be useful.

NFL Challenge is hard! Personally, I pick a custom roster and build them up myself. There are other choices for your fantasy team: Pass Defense, Pass Offense, Rush Defense, Rush Offense, or a Balanced team. Either way you pick, your team is sure to suck. Its not impossible, just hard. Challenges get you development points to make your team unsuck (if thats a word). Tokens are used to take these challenges. Once in a while, if you get enough tokens you can take a challenge, and if you win, you can take a player from a professional team and put him on your team. The Ladder Mode in NFL Challenge is pretty hard in the beginning, but it will all work out...

In conclusion this is a 4 star game. If you want a hard hitting game, buy this and be sure to get your D up. Remember, there's no I in TEAM, and there's no D in NFL Street.

This is a game I've been anticipating for over a year now, and I'm ecstatic to say that it lives up to the promise, hype, and hopes I had had for it. It's definitely one of the best multiplayer games out there and is so addictive you might lose a whole weekend with nothing to show of it but sore thumbs and the memory of the five lateral double reverse that you ran the length of the field only to fumble when getting blasted into a wall. You might lose the ball and watch your opponent take it back to the house spinning the rock behind his back, dancing through the mud, and even karate kicking Keyshawn in the head on his way to the score. You might not win the game, but you might not stop laughing and talking about the play either.

I just went out and bought this game after following this game for several weeks. I just have to say that it is everything I expected and more!
It is has ridiciously fields such as: City Limits, Da Roof, EA Field, Legends Park, The Country Yard, The Pit, The Warehouse and West Coast.
The game is a 7 on 7 all out battle for the game. You have 3 O-lineman, 2 wide recievers, a running back and QB on the offensive side. On Defense you have 3 D-lineman, 2 cornerbacks, and a safety man and a linebacker.
Also in the game there is unlockable legends such as: Lawrance Taylor, Ken Stabler, Lester Hayes, Larry Csonka, Walter Payton, Ronnie Lott, William Perry and ofcourse the great Barry Sanders.
The modes the game consist of NFL Challenge Mode: Build your custom-created team into a powerhouse by blasting through over 200 unique challenges, Pick Up Game Mode: You're always the captain and you take turns with your opponent while selecting your team from 40 NFL stars, Multiplayer Competition: Cooperative gameplay or head-to-head action with up to four of your friends and online play.
As well as great gameplay, there is great music from Fuel, Bravehearts, DJ Kayslay/Three 6 Mafia, Lostprophets, Baby D, Jakk Frost, Grafh, Lil' Flip, Wylde Bunch, Killer Mike, Korn/Nas and X-Ecutioners.
Even people who don't even really like football can like this game. That is because it may not be that realistic but it sure is fun and you don't really have to know anything about football to like this game.
Basically if you want a great game packed with long lasting great hitting games with great music and an overall great value, go out and buy this game!

What's wrong with all of you people? Talking about how NFL Street isn't good because you can't have late hits, and theres no defense. I'm here to set the record straight, and yeah, defense is challenging, but you get the hang of it. Also even on Blitz late hits did get annoying.

This game is a lot of fun to play, but the only complaint I have is the Limited play resources from the playbook, you only have 15-25 plays to start out with.

Other than that this game is excellent, the graphics are cool, the gameplay is a lot of fun and this game is just over all well thought out.

Oh yeah, and what's with all of you guys (1) complaining about the turbo and (2) complainign about it's difficulty? Well, 1 the turbo is just to give you an edge, and it also is very realistic, lets face it, you don't fly down the whole field at 15 mph, it's rather in different intervals that you pick up speed. 2 Why would you shell out 50 bucks for a game if you knew you were going to beat it in 2 hours?

The Multiplayer is the main attraction for this game, there is nothing better than laying the hurt on your friend with a gruesome tackle, or tromping down the field for the quick 6.

Overview:

Fun:11/10 A lot of fun, sometimes a bit tiresome on NFL Challenge, but the Multiplayer makes up for other short-comings.

Difficulty: 9/10 Not extremely hard, but there are a few times when you'll slam down the controller and storm out of the room in a rage.

Graphics:10/10 NBA Street Goodness meets Madden 2004.

Gameplay: 9/10 pretty complicated, but after the first few games you get the hang of it, very logical and just overall awesome.

Overall:39/40 Fun + Awesome conception = Excellent Game = NFL Street

Everyone should AT LEAST try this game out...it's well worth the money, time and it has been well worth the wait...congrats EA Big, you've created a BEAST!!!

P.S I forgot to mention that in NFL Challenge you can take players from other teams and make a football powerhouse. A word to the wise, Get all the players you want at first, do not waiste your tokens on the challenges. (You can get more NFL players that way)

Listen up, I REALLY wanted to like this game, and it is fun, some of the time. Theres some things on this game that you cant do anywhere else which makes it really exciting. And when you play it with a friend its way cool. Mostly because the biggest attraction of this game is its big plays. It seems every other down theres a big big play, which is very fun when your playing with a friend because it makes the game exciting. But when you are playing one player it gets a little tough...How do I put this? Well consider this, Ive been playing it for about a week and im already going bald from the frustration. This game is very very frustrating. Appearently EA Sports BIG was getting complaints about NBA Street 2 being too easy because this game is HARD. First of all when you start out in the singleplayer mode "NFL Challenge" you get a group of runts that have no talent whatsoever. Recievers dont catch, defenders dont tackle. Its pretty much a blowout everytime you try to play a pro team in a game. But after a while you accumluate development points and yout players get better. Your still not able to stop anyone on defense but you can score pretty much without trying. Soon you atart beating down the CPU pretty good, but theres a problem, and its one of the dumbest rules ive ever seen on a sports game: AUTO-CPU ASSIST. Thats right now no matter how good you are doing the computer has a backup plan, the computer assistance. Soon the other team will make play after play scoring on one play at times putting points on the board mighty fast. Meanwhile defensively they will crush you. Not only will it be impossible to make a big play but everyother pass is intercepted, anytime you are tackled you lose the ball on a fumble, its ridiculous. In games to 36 ive had 35-6 leads decimate to 41-22 nail biters. The computer will score on offense and defense again and again, all because of the CPU assistance that they so ingeniusly made automatic in challenge games. Its ridiculous and unfair.
In conclusion you will have a lot of fun playing this game, as long as you can handle the teeth clenching frustration you will get again and again trying to compete in such unfair circumstances. The NFL Street idea was a good one, but the way they out it together needs to be completely rethought. Its doesnt hold a candle to its NBA Street counterpart at all.

I was lucky to be one of the people who got to test this game in development. I got to play it right before they finished the game. It's made by the same guys that make Madden (I'm a huge Madden fan for many years). And you can tell. The quality is really high. It's very different from Madden. Game play is pure arcade fun. I got to play it for about an hour straight. I definitely want to get this when it comes out.

NFl Street is a great game for you if you aren't looking for a Rule book run game. The basic concept is still there: Drive Down the field and score but it is more exciting. The hits are harder the gameplay is quicker and the players are 100X cooler. The players have all been "enhanced" so they basically look way exagerated which is a good thing. It's common to have three players with two foot afros and a linemen that is wider than an NYC apartment. The gameplay is high paced and very fun. The STREET title comes in because you get points that add up to gamebreakers if you can get fancy. You can get points for throwing a laterall then doing a hail mary and also for taunting your way into the end zone. A gamebreaker Is bassically the same thing as catching on fire in slugfest or Blitz. You get pumped up and more powerfull. Every hit practically causes a fumble. Your nearly impossible to tackle and your a lot faster. NFL Street is a great game for those of you who enjoyed NFL Blitz or NBA Street. If your not sure it will fit your style rent it. You may become a Street fan.

This is an awesome game with a 7 on 7 format gameplay. You can pick your different fields which includes the street, the beach, parks and many more. You can also be a captian for a team and pick your favorite players. It is non stop, action packed exciting game! No other football game can compare, even come close, to the all new NFL Street.

BUY it and you will be very happy.

When I have a couple of friends over, we always bust out NFL street. You can pick teams like you would at recess at school but with NFL players. The same players play on offense and defense so you could choose all defensive players and rock them on defense, unfortunately you won't get very far on offense.

Graphics are decent. It's nothing to complain about but nothing to freak out over either. All of the players are oversized to give the game a NFL Blitz kind of feel (but I think it's better than blitz)

Sound is kind of bad. The players yell ghettoish insults at eachother that are really dumb ie "You're gonna do my laundry!" They don't do it often but I always crack up at how corny it is when I hear it.

Challenge is pretty difficult but don't give up! The idea is that you start from scratch with blank players (0 points in everything) and earn points through challenges so they can become good. I do the fantasy team and use all of my points on two or three players (make sure I get a QB and Wideout). Then I can start stealing players from other teams when I beat them.

This is a good game to play with friends and you can get some fun out of it playing by yourself too, and it's only like 20 dollars now.
