This is a useful handbook in helping maintenance staff understand the Life Safety Code. The book actually quotes the code but then goes beyond the code with annotated commentary on what the code means. The book has helped me answer questions from building occupants regarding fire alarm codes and device installation. It's one thing to provide an answer, but quite another to provide an answer backed up by both code and expert opinion. This book is very helpful to the facility manager.
