These spark plugs do the job that you would expect. This is my second set of the NGK BKR6EIX Iridium IX spark plugs. The first set was purchased a couple of years back and replaced the stock spark plugs in my BMW 328i. The 2nd set simply replaced the first set. After about two years of wear on the first set, I figured it might be time to change the spark plugs and put in fresh ones. The old ones still looked good and since I hadn't had any driving problems, I probably could have continued with them for a longer period. But, the old ones came out and the new ones went in. Maybe the 3rd set will be 3 years down the road? I will buy this brand again for my BMW.

These NGK's are awesome. I self installed them on my '00 Volvo S40 1.9T and instantly got more power! Mine are gapped at .030, just like they came in the box. The price is hard to beat - everywhere else the plugs ran $7-12 each - good thing I looked here! The only downside is the packaging that my plugs were shipped in - a small (but adequate) box, but only a small airbag to protect 4 smaller loose boxes - would have preferred packaging peanuts and the wrong receipt was sent with them.

I bought these spark plugs as replacement for the original ones per recommended maintenance at 108,000Km. No issues and a small increase in fuel efficiency when compared with the older ones. No perceptible improvement in acceleration. So far so good.

Transferred from Bosc Platinum +2 to NGK Iridiums. I can't say I've seen any noticeable HP or MPG gains. People who tell you they get "INSTANT MORE POWER" is probably feeling the psychological effects of installing a new performance part. If they DO get me more power, it would probably be only single digit HP gains (under 5HP) and probably wouldn't be perceivable to a human being and can only be verified by a dyno. I'll update later and post any MPG or gains gains in the long term.

That said, as for spark plugs go, these look and operate pretty well. They were cheap (cost me under $7 a piece), well gaped (checked all 6 before I put them in), well packaged (each came in a box with a cardboard tube spacer to prevent the spark side from damage), and appears to be well made. They were easy to install and my engine started right up on the first try.

In terms of engine rev smoothness, I didn't really notice a difference. It could be my engine was already revving smooth. I liked the "needle point" design of these plugs compared to the Bosch which had 2 pins radially around a round center hub. Get these plugs if you want a quality long lasting plug. Don't expect instant performance gains from it though. This is not a supercharger.

These were put on a VW Passat 2.8L V6.

I ordered these as an "upgrade" when it was time to replace the plugs on my 2007 SAAB 9-3 2.0T sedan. They worked fine, and the engine runs much smoother, as would be expected "tuning it up" by putting in a new set of spark plugs.

The only issue with this order was that initially I only received 1 plug when I had ordered 4. I emailed back the store that fulfilled the order via the Amazon website, and received the remaining 3 in a few days. Everything turned out fine, but obviously I was delayed in doing the work on my car for about a week until I got what I ordered from the vendor.

We'll see how they hold up as compared to the OEM platinum-tipped NGK's that were in the car. These were cheaper than the OEM plugs by about $3 each, so I'm curious how they will perform over time. Changing them yourself is very easy on this car with the correct-sized Torx head screwdriver, a torque-limiting socket wrench with a long enough extension, and the right-sized socket for the plugs.

OEM plugs for turbo Subaru, why pay for fancy packaging? Works well, not sure why it was difficult to find.

These plugs are what VW recommends, and I went to these from Bosch. I'm very satisfied and they are a good price for Iridium compared to Platinum.

i have used these plugs almost exclusively. They last really long without significant widening of the gap or deterioration of the tip. The price on Amazon is always the best. Great value for money.
