Product Description

NGK Standard spark plug is manufactured to enhance the performance of the vehicle. It is constructed from durable material that is corrosion and abrasion resistant. The spark plug insulators are made of 99 percent pure alumina silicate, allowing for longer insulator noses for reduced fouling. This spark plug features a triple gasket sealing process that eliminates fuel leakage. It also includes a solid copper core that provides superior heat dissipation and conductivity. This spark plug has resistor that is produced with a glass and carbon mixture, which is fired to ensure superior performance and durability. It has corrugated ribs that prevent flash over and cold rolled threads to inhibit damage to the cylinder head.

I've installed this spark plug in a Honda Metropolitan 50cc scooter and have ridden over 6 thousand miles on it already and it continues to perform very well. This is an original replacement for the OEM plugs and the original looked quiet good when I replaced it at 5000 miles. The electrode was not substantially worn and there was no excessive deposits on the plug. I will definitely buy another one like this when it's time to replace it again. The plug I ordered from Amazon is manufactured in Japan, so it's another cool thing to consider.

Bought 6 of these to replace the Iridium plugs in my Tacoma after it started having trouble idling when the engine was cold. I decided to go back to the OEM plugs after researching problems with Iridium plugs, two of the plugs I pulled out had no electrodes left (so thin to begin with they have a tendency to disintegrate over time).

I was hoping a bad spark plug was the cause of a rapid gas mileage drop on my 1996 Honda Magna 750 (from 40-45 mpg to <30 mpg). Replaced the suspected plug with this one, and my gas mileage instantly went back up to 40-45 mpg. Problem solved!

An additional note: I've had this spark plug in for just under a year now with no difficulties. It's a reliable plug, at least in my case.

I've been buying Bosch and NGK spark plugs for a couple of decades now. I don't know why they cost so much now, compared to what they cost in the 80s, but at least they're still the same quality. They used to be a buck apiece.

I use these in my 2003 Honda Silver Wing scooter. It will work in all years, at least up until 2013, as the engine hasn't changed.

I change my spark plugs every 3-4k miles in my motorcycle

Even though many people claim its an overkill, I like the small performance gain I get on new spark plugs (and also little better gas mileage.)

I know the differences are very small, but 12 dollars it is worth it to me for the 5 months ill use them (3 or 4k miles)

Recommend!

Bike has never run this good. After installing all 4 new plugs, their was pep back in its step. These are great plugs and I will not settle for less. The original plugs lasted 19 years. That is saying something.

Bought these excellent plugs here for my dad, his local shop wanted almost $10 each, $40 for a complete motorcycle plug change, buying them for about 1/2 on Amazon, shipped to his house was a real money saver.
