Each player has a rating of how good they are, their age, salary and, of course, position. Big League Manager is two games in one. Building your team relies on strategy and hockey smarts. For kids between the ages of eight to ten, they'll probably need someone a little older to help them through the first game. But after that, it's easy. The more familiar you get with the game, the more complex it becomes. Can you steal a superstar in a trade? How much should you bid for that starting goaltender? How's your opponent doing? Table talk is not only permitted but highly encouraged. Then, suddenly, when someone lands on the PLAY square, the pace of NHL Big League Manager suddenly changes.
