limited edition is the most random and best cd i've gotten, March 26, 2004
This review is from: NHOI (Audio CD)
i just saw nhoi this tuesday. two days ago, wow, feels like longer, since they were so good that i'm so sad that the show is over. haha. but, this cd is insanely good and hilarious. there's a cover of buttercup by the foundations, they have their little tequila song at the end of the last track and veronica...wow. that song is hilarious. at the show he was screaming, i hate you, and everyone had their flip up and were screaming with him. so...everyone should buy this cd, it's great. i didn't buy it until the show, and jeff talked to me and asked me if i had ever heard of them...and i had to say no...so don't feel stupid like me, haha, and be smart and buy this cd, and go see them on their allister, over it,& hipv tour. it's one sick show. you won't regret going and you won't regret buying this cd.

Pure pop punk at it's best, June 29, 2004
This review is from: NHOI (Audio CD)
Is there an underlying, inside joke behind the name of this band? Those who read into band names might just perceive there to be one once they listen to this album. How you ask? Well, that's simple. Their brand of pop punk has significant influences of SOMETHING CORPORATE, YELLOWCARD, BLINK 182 and just about any other major label pop punk band. Although the album is lacking in originality, it does have the tendency to penetrate your need for something energetic and fun. The choruses by themselves are first-class illustrations of why power pop/punk has always been lurking in the shadows of what's considering "hot" in the music scene. It doesn't seem to matter what style of music is buzzing because a good chorus then verse with some lofty melodies will always be welcomed with open arms, or to be exact, ears. The real quandary is whether or not there is room for another band of this variety. In this reviewers humble opinion; there is just enough space for NHOI to finalize and round out the pop blast that has taken over the air waves. Even though you have "heard it of it before" you can enjoy it none the less.
