I can't use this product because when I put the turkey on it, it won't fit in my oven. I would warn anyone to check the size of their oven before purchasing this item.I never thought my oven was too small before. I wish I could return it but I don't have the packaging.

I purchased this item to use on the turkey that I roasted for dinner, this past Thanksgiving. It's well designed, and sturdy enough. I used it on a 14 lb bird, and would not necessarily think that it would work for a very large turkey. But for this size, it made it very easy to lift the turkey out of the roasting pan, without a problem. The chrome finish is heavy, and the rack washed easily. Very satisfied.

I used this for a turkey weighing just under 14 lbs. It fit easily, and the rack could probably accomodate a 16 lb bird. Note: position/balance of the turkey on the rack is important -- to prevent a hot bird from unintentionally slipping off the rack when lifing it. Do a "test-lift" BEFORE placing in the roaster and adjust the position as necessary.
