The product is the same gel as provided by our dentist. I thought it was a better bargain as you got more vials of whitening gel, however, the vials were smaller than those provided by the dentist. I thought that was a bit misleading as there was no information provided on size of each vial and they make it sound like you are getting more gel because it is an 8 pk kit, but considering the size of containers; you are getting about the same as you would recieve from your dentist's four pack kits. Hope this helps.
