A Real and complete bible. The print is large enough for my 2nd grader to read without much struggling. Some more difficult words are simplified but the text remains whole. It is suitable for my 5th grader as well. The quality is really good. This is going to last a long time.A Great Buy!!

When I ordered this bible for my son I was expecting something more similar to a study bible. I thought there would be facts or tips or something to make bible study fun. The description isn't really clear on what the full color tip inserts are, or whatever they call them. They ended up being pictures. I was so disappointed. I can buy a children's bible for a lot cheaper if all I'm looking for is a couple pictures thrown in here and there.

This is a good bible for children. The font is large enough for easy reading,there are pictures and the front cover is colourful making ita very attractive bible. My daughter truly enjoys her first bible.
Couple shortfalls are that the words of Christ are not in red (which would be good for the reader to visually identify Christ's words) and the verses should be separated and not all joined together as is the case in the adult version of this bible.

I'm not going to repeat what other reviewers have said. We use this in our children's ministry. The print is large enough for the kids to read easily, unlike many of the cheaper Bibles often bought in bulk by churches.

The pictures in this Bible are not drawings, but instead are actual photos of people dressed up like Bible characters with graphics put around them. My only reservation about this book is the first photo of Adam and Eve. It has two people who are obviously nude but sitting strategically and with Eve's hair falling strategically.

I had reservations about that photo but I put the Bibles into our classroom anyway. Within weeks, one of our 1st graders made an unsolicited comment that she did not like that particular picture either. I immediately cut that page out of each of the Bibles. I don't want to stumble even one of these little ones (a millstone around my neck comes to mind).

Other than that, it's perfect for the ministry. The hardcover is durable and should last for years. Food for thought, but it's nothing a pair of scissors can't solve.

This is a great Bible for kids (and parents to read with them!)
The letters are larger, making it easy for those without lots of reading experience to see the words clearly. It's also been revised in such a manner as to use more understandable words in some cases, but IS the entire Bible, not simply paraphrased or only a group of key Bible stories. The kids love the brilliant pictures also. Our church buys these for any Sunday School kids going into the third grade each year, and they are treasured. Highly recommended!!!

Bought it as a Christmas present for a neighbor's 10 year old daughter. She seems very pleased. The book arrived on time and in great shape. Thanks.

Very nice, comparable too all other children's bibles I have seen. Would recommend.

I gave my 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School children this Bible on the last day of Sunday School. They loved it and started looking through it right away. It wasn't a baby bible and they felt wonderful having their big kid bible. This Bible goes line by line just like their parents' NIV, they loved the beautiful pictures and the maps in the back of this bible shows them where Jesus was born and died, where He lived, the miracles He performed and even where Jesus found Zacheus in the tree. Great Bible. One of the parents told me their son was looking at it every night. This bible has everything you would want your children to have to study the Word of God.

This is an excellent first bible for school-age children. This is not a bible story book, rather a full text of the bible. My first and second graders take turns reading from this bible, with occasional help from mom. They are able to understand what they are reading and this is really giving us an opportunity to discuss the bible. They are proud to have out-grown their bible story books and have a bible that more closely resembles that of mom and dad.
