This is the Bible to give to anyone who has never owned or seen a Bible before. It contains no study notes, no interpretations, no human contribution to the contents except translation. It is the Word of God and only the Word of God--the power of God unto salvation--in plain, easy to understand English. Read it cover to cover at least once a year and you will discover treasures!

I was disappointed with this Bible for one reason. I specifically purchased it based on the clearly advertised " Large Print". If you are looking for a Bible with Large Print I would clearly advise you against it.

This is a great bible to carry with you. It's very thin which makes it difficult for the book to stay open on its own. The pages are somewhat transparent which makes it a little distracting to read. Great bible to begin your Christian journey.
