I am a beggining Pastor with my first church. This Bible has been a tremendous help with great ideas in leading worship services and easy to follow outlines. This is a must have for anyone just begging or for those who are just looking for a new Bible with wonderful resouces.

The NIV Pastor's Bible is an excellent bible, perfect for preaching, counseling, weddings, funerals and more. I would have given it a 5 rating had the binding in my copy stayed intact.

What I don't understand is why this bible is no longer available. It was perfect for everything a Pastor needs to do on a regular basis. It even has a section for pastor to reflect on the state of his situation. Why is it no longer available? I know that there is a new version called the Ministers Bible, but I liked the NIV PB better.

Maybe the manufacturer ought to read this review? You had something good going, why did you stop? I would have bought another copy when the pages came unglued.

I love my pastor's Bible. The only thing missing is space in the margin so that I can write notes. The section in the back has enough additional information for life, special events, and even difficult commonly asked questions.

COndition listed "like new," but came in "new" condition. No longer in print, and difficult to find, so the price was reasonable. One of the best Bibles I have found for preaching, handling and resource materials on the spot. Aptly named "Pastor's Bible." Zondervan should consider reprinting.
