Over the last five years, the editors of the NIV study Bible have painstakingly reviewed, revised, and rewritten the notes of the classic, bestselling NIV Study Bible. Over 80 percent of the notes have been revised and adapted in some way from the 1996 update, and some 30% of the notes in the text have been added, completely rewritten, replaced or deleted. Over 800 of the more than 20,000 notes in this edition are completely new. This update reflects the most recent scholarship from a conservative academic perspective, and reflects changes to the text suggested and requested over the last 15 years by students and academics who have studied, used, and loved the NIV Study Bible. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
I would prefer to have one with larger type but the Bible is great!!!Published 1 day ago by Larry D.
I have a problem with how slow it is...it is only slow because I am...if I used it more I would get faster. The NIV version of the Bible is what I would use in hard copy.Published 12 days ago by Arlene K. Emery

I'm not a fan of the new updates to the translation. I liked the 1984 version, but I think I'm steering my family towards NKJV. The quality of the binding is nice, however.Published 17 days ago by GH70
