NIV Thinline Bible, Large Print

Extremely thin for a large print Bible. I use this to give to any new person or convert who wants a Bible they can keep for years to come. Great price. A no lose situation.

"Large Print is not so large.....There was no sample or specificatrion on the font size. Not sure, but the font is a 10 or so, not too good for someone with poor eyesight or someone who has to use a magnifying glass in addition to glasses.

As others have mentioned, and I'll mention again, the font is just _barely_ larger than you'll find in a normal book. It's not the two- or three-times larger font we were expecting. (Pretty disappointing, considering my dad misses reading his Bible since his eyesight went bad...) I highly recommend the dramatized readings of the bible, having bought one myself (and, happily, was able to lend to my dad when his eyesight went bad).

have the NIV Study Bible (large print)for home and church, but I wanted a smaller Bible to carry with me in my pickup. I purchaed the hardcover and found it was easy to read and to carry with me, even though the print is not as large at the study bible I feel that it is very readable, in fact I enjoy it so much I ordered a Leather Bound to carry in my car. I am thinking about ordering one more just to have in my office. Don't want to be wihtout it.

I like the Bible I received, but it can hardly be considered "large print." If you compare it to older micro print (8 point font) bibles, then it could be considered large print. I was expecting more like 14 point font. I'll keep it and use it, but it is still difficult to read. I'm only fifty but have been visually impaired since age three.

What a good read! The large print makes it much easier on the eyes to read. Makes it fun to read. NIV is a good translation too. Many people find this translation to be one of the most popular versions on earth.

This Bible was an excellent price and in great condition. I am very happy with this purchase and it is nicer then I even expected for a used book. The book looks brand new and was a fraction of the cost. Thank you for the great purchase here on Amazon.com.
