Stop and read, suggest another Bible
Stop and read before you purchase this book. Consider instead the ESV, NASB, KJV, or NKJV. Here's why: Many people are amazed when I tell them our family doesn't use the NIV. They immediately assume I am associated with KJV-onlyism. While I respect the grand old translation, I am not opposed to modern versions that remain true to the original...

I am most pleased with my recent purchase of the Thinline Bible. The cover is attractive, the font and print inside is a nice size, even for my mid-forties eyes, and the compact size is just what I need for when I travel or want a smaller Bible. Timeless book, beautifully bound,

The New International Version is the best-selling of all Bibles, because it's scholarly, but clearly written and easy to read. This edition, bound in premium bonded leather is only 3/4" thick, the Belgian crafsmanship is beautiful, and it's very reasonably priced. It's easy to carry along or to pack in a briefcase or purse.

This Bible is absolutely the best. The Bible is always a good read, of course. But the size of this as well as the snazzy cover makes it a perfect pick.

I am going to keep this short and to the point. This is a basic NIV Bible. The quality of the cover and the binding are great; especially for the price. If you buy this Bible, I would definitely get it from Amazon.
This Bible is great for a small Bible to bring to church, travel or to give as a gift. I bought it specifically for Church. I wanted something small, yet easy to read.

I bought this for my son first bible. He's 11 years old and he was very thrill to have his own bible. It's pretty cool (kewl) looking. The font was good. For a 43 years old with deteriorating eye sight is probably pushing it. I prefer a bigger font but otherwise, the leather cover feels good, have color maps in the back, very good size.

This is a great, compact travel Bible - the purpose for which I bought it. It doesn't have study notes or commentary but des include maos, index, etc.
