The NIV version is, of course, excellent. But what is impressive about this Zondervan version is the size. It is small enough to fit into a suitcoat pocket. Amazingly enough, the typestyle is easily readable, even in a Bible so small. It is nice to have the complete Bible in such a convenient package. Really worth the low price!

This is a nice sized pocket or purse Bible. It contains all of the Old and New Testaments.I have several different Bibles, and am most fond of the NIV translation. When I was looking for a pocket Bible, I wanted the NIV, and was concerned that the type not be too small for my aging eyes to read easily. This one is perfect! It is a small font, of course, but is a sans-serif typeface, making it very easy to read. (it looks to me like the Verdana font.) The bonded leather cover has a nice feel to it, and there is a matching ribbon to mark your spot. The cover has gold stamped on the spine and back and the pages are edged in gold. This would make a lovely gift.

This bible goes everywhere with me. It is small enough to fit in pockets, purses or tackle boxes and the flap keeps the pages nice. It is great to put in a backpack and take all over campus. Ths bible is a great book and I like to read it every chance I get!

Even though the inside lining may peel after several years, book has gone strong for going onto five years now.

We bought two of these compact bibles for graduation gifts. They have a protective leather binding that closes completely around the pages ends, protecting them in such places as backpacks and book bags.

Its small and compact. Very easy to carry around. Quality binding and the print is not too small.

I like the fact that an entire NIV Bible fits in my pocket. (Coat pocket or back pants pocket.)
It looks very nice with the reddish brown bonded leather cover, gold lettering and shiny gold edges to the pages.
The reference system is abbreviated from a center-column style cross reference system. The more significant passages that relate to the passage you are reading are printed after each verse or paragraph. Nice touch for such a compact Bible.
I really need to mention that though the type is small, it is not hard to read. It is not tiny, just compact. Relatively easy to read.
I have uploaded pics so you can see what it looks like. (It does NOT look like the stripey cover shown on the amazon product pic. That is a stiff paper cover folded over the book and shrink wrapped to it for packaging.)

I looked for a pocket NIV Bible for a number of months before ordering the NIV Trimline Bible. Until it showed up, I was not sure what I would be getting because the online photos were not entirely descriptive. I was not sure of the color. I was not sure whether it was the size that I was looking for.

I actually never found the pocket NIV Bible that I reviewed in a bookstore last year while traveling, but the NIV Trimline Bible is larger and hence more legible. I have enjoyed this bible in the months since I ordered because of its portability and I keep it in my car to use in Sunday school and in small group meetings.

The Bible I received was burgundy leather. It fits nicely in a suit coat pocket.

I've had this bible for 4 years. I have to buy a new one b/c I used this one so much it's starting to fall apart. The size is perfect and does fit into a pants pocket or jacket. It's great.

This bible is just what I was looking. It slim enough to slip into my briefcase or purse. The print is not too small to read and does not cause me to strain my eyes. Of course more references would be nice, but it does provide some at the end of selected verses. (this would probably lead to smaller print or larger size; although, I would purchase a slightly larger size) My only other wish is that a NIV trimline bible would be availble with a zipper; I prefer complete protection for the pages because they can still be damaged with the snap closure.
