This is a fairly good worship Bible for use in worship. The content is like any other NIV Bible and has a standard NIV look. As for the binding and the durability of the book, I would give it 3 stars because the binding and paper really start to get worn out after several months of heavy usage.

The font type is great. Unlike other Bibles, the words aren't very tiny and are easy to read. The cover of the Bible, however, just says "HOLY BIBLE New International Version" - the Amazon.com cover is only the outside box which the Bible comes in.

Each book of the Bible has a short introduction and outline before it, but they don't seem to take on a "scholarly" point of view, but rather intended for a casual reader.

This is a great large-print version of the NIV "standard text". I would highly recommend it for use in church, but not for serious scholarly study of Bible authorship, date, history , etc., as the NIV study Bible or New Jerusalem Bible (which are adorned with lots of little footnotes) would be much more suitable for the more-than-casual reader.

We have ordered several copies of this Bible for our Tues. night Bible Study Group and have been very pleased with it. Several in the group need a large print Bible and this was a relatively inexpensive Bible that met our needs. Since it was primarily to read during the study, we didn't not need extensive study aids and did not have to pay for them. The NIV is a great translation in that it is in modern English but still sticks close to the original text, unlike some of the modern paraphrases. All in all, it meets our needs very well.

The print isn't as large as you might think. It's pretty much like the Bible's you see in motel room drawers.

The Zondervan Bible is good print but it is annoying that the thin page doesn't block the print on the reverse side completely. It's a bible after all so not bad.

For someone who appreciates reading a larger print Bible, this is a fine one.

NIV Worship Bible, Large Print
I was very happy with this Bible and the size of the print. The pages are a little thin resulting in visual print bleed threw, but after several weeks of use I don't even notice that anymore. A great Bible especially at this price.

The Large Print Bible was a gift for my 94 year old father. He reads the bible every day but needs larger print because of his macular degeneration in his eyes. He was thrilled.

These Bibles have a much nicer size font for those people who have any problem with vision. It was nice to find the large print in a hardback, many were soft cover. Nice size for holding, good quality for the cost.

Very well put together. Large print is very easy to read. Bought for a 3rd grader and his review was "really nice". Perfect for school use.

How do you criticize the bible! Only complaint is the pages are very thin.
