I think the Beginners Bible is wonderful! In the tradition of the New International Version, this Bible is much more understandable to the young readers for whom it was printed. And the attention to reading ease in no way sacrifices accuracy. To quote the Good Lord Jesus, who's words consequentally can be found in this wonderful translation, it is a good way to,"Let the little children come to me. Don't keep them away. The kingdom of heaven belongs to people like them." Matthew 19:14( Holy Bible The Beginner's Bible; p 1435)

My son was very enthused about going shopping for a new bible, he is seven years old. All the bibles we looked at he chose this one because it had several pictures of Jesus, as a young boy and on the cross. None of the other bibles he looked at had a picture of Jesus. This was very enlightening for me, he knew what he wanted and loves his new bible. I love the fact that it is easy to read and has a dictionary. Outstanding!
